"For the moment," Aila said as she ran. "Anywhere away from those farmers. They seem like the kind who will start up trouble." She lifted off, finding flying easier than using her legs. "We'll probably look for someplace with not too many people, but just enough for them to believe what they see," she added over her shoulder.

"What?" Sazura asked curiously. "Believe what they see?" These human things were a confusing bunch, and she had to double check everything she thought she knew about them.

"Many, if not most, don't believe in 'angels' as they call us," Aila told her. "If only a few see us as who we are, most others will think they're seeing things."

"Oh." Sazura was a bit taken aback. How could they not beleive that she, Sazura, didn't exsist? Then a much more disturbing question crossed her mind. What if she didn't exist? "What if we don't?" Sazura asked, rather alarmed.

"Oh, we do. Humans see 'angels' like us so rarely that they don't believe in us," Aila said, landing with a small thud in a meadow. "We can catch our breath here." Sitting down, she began to whistle. Slowly but surely, birds of all sorts began to gather in the meadow.

"Oh," Sazura said for about the hundredth time that day. One of the birds took a perch on her arm and began to sing for her, flashing it's bright blue feathers.

((Sorry it's been forever. I've been extremely busy.))
"Do you like birds?" Aila asked Sazura as a bluejay landed on her shoulder. Smiling, she continued to sing a harmony with the surrounding birds.

"I love them. Their voices are so pretty." Sazura said smiling. Aila's voice was just as pretty, and it blended in perfectly with the them. The birds song was much much prettier than the humans'.

((Sorry it's been so long since I last posted.))
"Aren't they?" Aila said, pausing from her song for only a moment.
