Errr.... I'm pretty new to the Tenor Sax though I have played Bass Clarinet and Alto Sax (though not for a while) before and I'm having a little trouble hitting the low notes! >w< Whenever I press the keys and play most of the time it plays the higher octive! I've tried changing my embouchure and tried directing the air differently and it works sometimes but then it just goes back and I was wondering if any of you had tips for me on that. Also I made sure I'm not pressing the (damn I forgot what the key was called >_< ) key that makes it higher =O

Well...I guess before checking the instrument for problems, it would be better for you to try using more air and dropping your jaw more. If that doesn't work, check to make sure the octave key is working properly, and check for key leaks after that. (If it's going up an octave, it's probably a problem with the octave key...make sure that key's not leaking, too.)
(Oh, and by the way, it's spelled "embouchure". I'm a spelling geek. xd )

it's not necessarily a problem with the octave key, actually. it's probably your embouchure, you say you've been playing bass clarinet..right? well bass clarinet uses a really tight embouchure compared to saxophones, what you need to do is get in front of a mirror and make sure your mouth is LOOSE but still make sure that your corners aren't letting any air our...gotta go :O hasta luego!
