Another war between Angels and Demons has begun. Their battles have spilled onto our world and everyone is in danger. The only problem is no one sees it. In a world already filled with violence and war it goes by unnoticed. However some Humans have stumbled upon the war. Whether they are the targets or just got in the way. Some religious humans have been told of the war by whom they worship. Others have picked a side after they witnessed, or participated in, a battle.

However behind it all is a third group. A group made of all three souls who wish to control all of creation.

Souls: there are three states that a soul can go through. All souls have started as a human. However some souls are accepted into the ranks of the angels after their death, others become demons.

Humans: a human is someone who's soul is on the beginning of its journey. They have no control over creation nor do they have the ability to take control over it. Humans can interact with angels and demons however. And the fact that their souls become either angels or demons makes them the perfect target for reinforcements. Humans who are in the war are some of the most important people to have. They don't have anything to hide from other humans, and they can influence other humans to join their cause without bringing them directly into the war.

Other Characteristics: Humans are weak against man made weapons. However they are highly resistant to certain holy and demonic powers. (this excludes anything of the healing variety and certain enchantments)

Angels: an Angel is a soul state that occurs after death. Angels usually are chosen because of good deeds they performed in their life, or one just before their death. The angels have controlled most of creation for the past several thousand years. Today they fight to keep their control on creation although most have begun to ignore creation as a whole. Angels can hide themselves as humans unless they begin to use their holy powers. When they use their powers a white aura surrounds them. Some auras are flames, others make symbols appear allover their bodies.

Other characteristics: angels are resistant to certain man made weapons such as firearms. However they are weak against weapons that are imbune with Demonic powers or weapons that have the picture of a goats head or a blood red pentagram.

Demons: a Demon is a soul state that occurs after death. Demons are usually chosen for their nefarious deeds during life, or one nasty one just before their death. The demons have in exile from most of creation but they have been plotting on how to gain control of it. With the angels ignoring most of what lives in creation, The demons believed it was their time to strike while the angels were preoccupied with themselves. Today the demons fight to gain control of creation and bring chaos upon it. Demons can hide amongst the humans unless they begin to use demonic powers. When they use demonic powers a dark aura surrounds them. sometimes its a dark flame or some of its features become beastly.

Other characteristics: Demons are resistant to man made weapons, such as firearms. However, they are weak to weapons that are imbune with holy powers, or weapons that have a crucifix or are blessed with holy water.

Power types: for holy and demonic powers there are three power types that angels and demons can master.

Attack powers: Attack powers are powers that are used to harm someone. Holy powers do extra damage to demons and demonic powers do extra damage to angels. However this is the weakest type of power to use against humans for most humans are somehow immune to such powers.

Healing Powers: Healing powers can be used to either heal wounds or purify a soul. Both angelic and demonic powers can be used to heal wounds, even a humans wounds, However only Angelic powers can purify a human tainted by a demonic power and vice versa.

Enchantments: mastering enchantments means that the person can imbune an object with a certain ability. It can be used by any other soul, including humans, but it will leave a certain taint on them. If the power is the same as the soul however no taint is made, ex. if an angel uses an angelic imbune item he is not tainted by the item.

history: Jonas was just an honest working man. He was detective for his local PD when he was sent to investigate a series of murders around town. Jonas followed a pattern that the killer seemed to be making when he discovered the war. He saw a demon face off against an angel in the local junkyard. The demon was far stronger than the angel but Jonas stepped in and shot the demon. To his surprise it turned around completely unharmed and charged at him. Just before Jonas was ripped to shreds by the demon the angel saved him at the last minute and banished the demon. Since then Jonas has been sent from city to city helping the angels in their fight to control creation.

( Wow I thought this died long ago but if someone's going to join i guess i can make something up. I'll start posting tomorrow. I have to find my notes on this if I didn't already throw them away. If you can get someone else to join that would be fantastic.)
