I hope not. I'm tired of guilds dying.

I concur, might be spring break that killed it?!

maybe, a lot of people tend to head on vacation during spring break, but it could also be people leaving Gaia all together. A lot of the times, something comes up in most people's lives that distract them from fun sites like this and then end up forgetting about it, I know I did with Neopets and Final Fantasy 11. Well, FF11, that has more to do with the fact that we just moved out of our old house and FF11 had to be put away. But samething, things happen, a lot of people generally come back with hopes that their club or guild is still there and running.

Websites in general wax and wane. When a website is in decline its various forums and attendant boards go into decline. On the flipside, subforums are generally maintained by the skill and interest of their more motivated users and founders.
To put it into perspective: Swirve.com used to have absolutely spankin' forums. That, after over a decade, people moved on from the site. You used to be able to throw a post onto the swirve politics forum and it would be buried off the front page within 12 hours. I just checked their forums (the site was taken over by a different company), the last post was made 6 days ago.
So, it's between two things. If all that's needed is work, then rolling up our sleeves and getting people involved is all that's needed to throw some life back into the guild. On the flipside, if the novelty of Gaia has worn off, and people are moving on, then you can work your fingers to the bone and it won't bring this guild back to life.

Maybe we should do an event?

Instead of an event, you just need good recruitment.
