I suppose this can be a random debate thread. When the current debate dies, someone can post a new question to argue about...

"A dying man does not lie."

Is this true? Or does it depend on the situation?

Hm, I have to make things difficult now...

Suppose the man meets his long-lost daughter. The woman is close to the dying man, but not aware that he is her father.
Would he tell her the truth, or hide it from her to keep her protected?

(This lame excuse took me a bit to come up with... sweatdrop
But nonetheless, it seems... plausible.

And no, saying 'It depends on the dying man' is not an answer! xD)
