Located off in the corner of the hall, a small distance from the other offices is the 14th division's quiet little work space.
The room is rather nice, with two large desks for Shiori and her Fuku-taicho, with a small tea table in the middle of the room.
On one side the wall is lined with screens, used to monitor the wall 24/7.
On the other side is a large boad with important notices and dates attached on it.

The door is generally closed to block out noise, one must knock in order to gain entrence unless they are another Taicho or there is an emergency
If you chose to impose beware of the current Taicho, for she does not take to well to being distrubed...

Down in the fourteenth division sat Tsumuro in the captain's death as if it were his. Lazily he popped candy into his mouth one after the other with his feet propped on the surface of the desk and his hands crossed behind his head. His head tilted back into the chair and his eyes closed letting mind venture into the world of day dream. He despised work and any unnecessary fighting. He'd just rather kick back and enjoy the show that it was. Anything else consumed too munch energy and exhaustion. For the last couple of days the captain and lieutenant of the fourteenth division had been gone, making it paradise for him in this office. Everything he needed was in hands reach. Candy, drinks, a nice place to kick back. He had no bother of either of them sending him to work or to stop others. No errands no paperwork no nothing. Heck he could do this forever. If he was ever to receive promotion, he'd gladly turn it down.

"Nyahhh...How boring.."
-Hochi Kanashimi, Division Fourteen Fuku-taicho

The only reason the third seat had probably not recieved any paper work was due to the fact that the Fuku-taicho had been tending to those matters on her own. The door had been kicked open as a woman of Five feet Eight Inches moved inside, a pile of papers with sticky notes, tabs, folders and the like piled up, nearly covering her line of vision behind those slick rectangular black lenses.

Plopping the unreasonable pile down on the center of the Captain's desk, a few pages fluttering, the pile leaning haphazardly, before toppling over onto the Third Seat. "If you have nothing else to do, help organize these papers, Tsumuro." Hochi Kanashimi, better known as Kana within the Division, stated as she could now easily see the male before her, the woman looking down at him from over her shades.

The minute the woman started rearranging papers along the desk, he kick flipped from the chair and landed on the desk itself.

"Aww do I gotta? I hate messing with papers. It gets lamed after a while."

He jumped to the floor and started putting the papers back in place before popping another one of her candies into his mouth. This woman was crazy if she really thought he'd stick around messing with papers. But as his superior, he played along with it for as long as possible. He would make his leave later and sneak off into a gigai where he could lay down and maybe watch the clouds all day until he fell a sleep. Ah the mere thought of just chillen and kicking back sounded lovely.

Akane Shiori

"I'm always watching... You cannot hide your sins..."

"You have work to do." She moved from the shadows behind him, with a cold chill following. "And you're in my desk..." Her voice was dangerous as she leaned close to him and gripped his shoulder, tightening enough to cause discomfort, not quite pain... Yet. "Up now..." Shiori growled and tightened her clsp again, enough to cause a bit pain.
She was clearly in a foul mood, having been disrupted by the long and useless meeting, aswell as having been away from her office for three days, something of which is very rare for her. Usually she was always in the office or the observatory/monitor room.

Her hand came loose from his shoulder and fell to rest on the hilt of her Zanpakuto, and her expression softened. "Kana-san... Be a dear and get me a coffee, one mild two sugars..." She clearly needed it, as she hadn't had a coffee yet since early the previous morning and her moods always were negative when she was low on energy, especially when she'd been annoyed previously.

The Fukutaicho simply chuckled lightly as she moved away some papers from her desk and placing them on top of Shiori-taicho's desk with a cup of coffee already prepared and waiting for the lips of their captain to awaken the woman. "It's already been prepared, Taicho. I'm assuming the meeting wasn't worth it's attendance?" She questioned lightly as she gathered up some papers off the woman's desk and moving to place it upon her own.

The experienced Fuku-taicho (never quite Taicho despite her years of service) managed paper work probably fairly better than the others. She could easily read through pages upon pages upon packets upon packets of pointless information, pinpointing the necessary and the unnecessary behind those shaded lenses. Her gaze shifted to Tsumuro, her lips pursed in a slight smirk, before she brought a cup of water to her lips, moistening her dry throat and mouth.

It seemed Kana was always on time and always prepared, while she never said much, she was very thankful. She looked at the stack on her desk and sighed. "I apologise Kana-san, but I'm afraid I have to leave that to you. Soma-san has request, for reasons I do not know, that I leave to Karakura with him to deal with the... Hollow issue. I don't wish to abandon my post but it's a must aparently so you're in charge. Keep a tight collar on him." She referred to the third seat, still in her chair.
Kana had been right, the meeting had been a mistake and a pain int he a**... literally, as the chairs were not nearly as comfortable as the cushioned chair at her desk.

Picking up her coffee she tooka long sip and smiled, a look of calmness appearing over her face. "I'm leaving now, so you have ful power, do as you please. I trust you." The same could not be said for others, Shiori rarely trusted anyone, partly because of her own secrets that made her a bit of a loner...

The woman blinked behind her shades for a moment before a gentle sigh escaped her lips, setting the cup down upon her desk and nodding her head. "I don't quite see why Soma-san would need you. They could just take Tsumuro. We don't need him here, and you have more to attend to than pointless hollows. And either way, why is Soma-san in charge, Shiori-taicho?" Kana had never been too fond of Soma, not once. Sure, she respected him as he was her superior, but at the same time, she resented the man for his haughty attitude and ego.

Kana simply nodded her head at Shiori's words, her eyes shifting over to Tsumuro for a moment with a narrowed glare before back to Shiori. "Hai, Hai. Just be sure to get yourself a medical check, even if it may be unecessary, with Nao-taicho in the 4th Division. She'd prefer to see everyone after they return." Kana and Naosu were on quite good terms, much like siblings, or perhaps even mother-daughter. Naosu always enjoyed playing the maternal role for some reason. "Will Naosu-taicho be leave as well?" If not, then who would go for emergency medical procedures?

When he felt the captain's icy tone, he immediately raised up as if he were part of the mobile infantry lining up for military salute. The captain of the fourteenth division could prove scary at times. He truly believed this woman was crazy. And crazy people had nothing to lose so he kept his distance. As soon as her voice had retaken a calm demeanor, his eyes sank once again into his laid back mood.

"Yes! That's what's sup. No work for me. I'll be heading to the outta here to catch me some shut eye. You guys let me know what goes down"

He was excited that his captain had taken the leave to go to Karakura instead of him. It would be totally lame for him to take care of a mission that strong individuals like themselves could take care of easily without the slightest hint of difficulty. He would hang out in one of his usual spots and just him some sleep while the two captains worked. Why get yourself all worked up when you could get others worked up for you. Especially when it came down to paperwork are straight hands on work with hollows.

"Well see ya Kana, I hope everything goes well with the papers. Call me when breakfast, lunch, or dinner comes around."

He said skipping along the way.

Akane Shiori
Division 14 Taicho

"I'm always watching... You cannot hide your sins..."

Shiori mused for a moment and shrugged. "I don't know... he's been getting on my nerves lately. Tsumuro is is not strong enough, I must go, a few Taichos are, since something large must be occuring." Unfortunately Shiori had been forced to keep Kana in the dark, she was a good woman and would not take betrayal very well, eventually though she would be forced with a decision, follow Shiori on a new path or leave the division, however that choice would not be soon...
"I have no idea, he just takes carge when he wants, I tend to ignore him." For a Taicho she wasn't the most concerned with affairs of Seireitei, she preffered surveilence and that was all... It seemed no one in the squad was fond fo Soma.

"You know I'm good for that, but I doubt I'll be doing much, I'm not like Kenpachi or Soma, I like to keep myself out of useless squabbles." She smirked a little and patted Kana on the head. "You're a good girl and I don't know about Naosu-taicho, it's up to her."
With that she sighed heavily and left the room, heading out.

A while later:

Shiori's phone connected to the desk and the speaker turned on. "Kana-san." She assumed her Fuku-taicho was still there. "Menos Grtandes have been appearing all over the town. I need as cameras focussed on the areas including the foothills where Soma-taicho is fighting an Arrancar and a burst of Hollows. In the outskirts a Menos Grande has appeared amonst other areas. Keep me posted on any others you find. I may be engaging in combat."

Kana chuckled lightly as she resumed her work as usual, occasionally performing surveillance on Karakura town. And as soon as she got the message, as she had been currently looking through files and the like, she immediately focused the cameras on the said areas.

"It's on, Shiori-taicho. There seems to be about two Quincies taking on a Menos out at the Waterfront, Soma. There also seems to be one located near the High School. Cripes, their out there all right. How's everything over in Karakura for you, Taicho?" The woman spoke as she moved images over from the flexible screens, easily able to move information and collect fighting data into the computer memories.

Finally Tsumuro able to achieve something for his fuku-taicho. He had valuable information that she could use right now. Of all the times he was a pest and the lazy bum that he was, he had finally did something positive that would assist the investigation taking place at the moment on the shinigami slayings and the murders that occurred in Karakura town. Kana's soul pager would alert her that an incoming message was coming in through her phone. "Lieutenant Kana, I have some urgent news. Remember the man called Soma who lead the attack on the shinigami that took place in the human world? The very same man who attacked them and murdered those humans is here in the 4th Division right now. But don't come. Contact Old Man Yata about this. I have already contacted Central 46. If something should happen to me, I just downloaded the video of this man committing these crimes to the computer in your office that's taking the feedback from the camera images in town. Take that information to Old Man Yata. See you around Lieutenant." And with that her soul pager would notify her that the message was finished. He had needed his lieutenant to deliver this to the old man to avoid her being caught in Soma's trap that led so many to be deceived. Unfortunately for Durissa and Akuma, they weren't so lucky and were injured in the process. Now Kana had an advantage that they didn't have. She could avoid the same fate by reporting to Yata about everything that was going on.

A sigh escaped the lips of the dark-haired woman as she leaned upon the desk of hers, staring at the screens laid before her monitoring soul society. She had received a page from her Taicho. Something that wasn't quite expected. Running a hand through her bangs for a moment, she grunted quietly as she pushed herself away from the desk, moving to the screens, touching things, dragging things, storing things, before activating a special something that was recently loaded into the system. Sparks flew, screens fizzled out and flashed before cutting out all together, engulfing the room within darkness, something the woman was comfortable with.

"I bid ye, adieu..." She muttered as her fingers trailed over the desks, before she stepped towards the door, slowly exiting without so much of a glance back, without an hesitancy towards anything that was being left behind, just as a few members of the squad were rushing down, yelling nonsense.

A mild smile, a hand upon her blade, a flare of blue, and a snarl to boot, the woman passed the corridors and left behind a trail of bodies as she headed to her way towards her captain within Central 46.
