Welcome to the journal section of Pride Lands! Don't know what a journal is? I'll explain!


A b o u t
  • Journals are used in breedable shops for customers to keep track of the pets the receive from specific shops.
  • They are also used to keep track of role plays, cubs, prides, growths, and other individual information about your lions.
  • They are a great tool for role playing partners to look through and pick out who they like judging by the information provided about the pet.
  • So if you have some Pride Lands pets and wish to keep them seperate from other shops, or simply want to go into detail about their lives, a journal would be a great start!


G e n e r a l
  • You are not required to submit requests or gold in order to create a journal. This subforum is optional as well as open to anyone!
  • You are not required to follow specific forms or examples within your journal. Your journal can be set up however you would like and contain whatever you see fit. We encourage creativity here, so show us what you got!
  • Do not use other people's lions or something you colored on the PL's lineart within the banners (or anywhere else) of your journal
  • If you wish to use someone's layout, be sure to credit them somewhere in your journal so we can avoid conflict

Unsure of how your journal should look or be set up? Or maybe you're struggling to come up with some of your own ideas and rather have a template instead? Well, the following information will explain what a basic journal would normally contain, so check it out.


I n t r o d u c t i o n
  • Most journals start off my reserving a few posts or a whole page to introduce their journal, themselves, and other bits of information to help you navigate/understand.
  • Although there is no specific order as to how these should be placed, here are the general things people post before moving on to their lions:
    • Title post
    • Table of Contents
    • Updates/News
    • Rules
    • About You
    • Plotting Information
    • Anything else you wish to add


L i o n s .. P o s t s
  • After setting up your introductory posts, you should start on posting your lions!
  • Normally, each lion receives its own post so things are clearly laid out and easy to understand/read
  • You can put whatever you'd like about your lion within it's post, but this is the general layout most people use. Feel free to copy and paste this (no credit needed):
