Okay, I realize that there are probably many ways for this one. Here is the way I make it most often:

Get a big pot! lol... fill with water and add chopped bits of chicken breast (I use boneless and skinless). Boil the chicken until it's completely cooked!

While the chicken is boiling, take out a mixing bowl, I recommend a large one depending on how big a pot you're using! (Adjust for your taste and serving size)
Add three cups bisquick biscuit mix, teaspoon of parsley, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon rosemary (crushed between fingers before adding), and 1/2 cup milk. Your mix should be blendable, but not liquidy like pancakes. More the consistancy of batter that you get from rolls of biscuits (ie Pillsbury dough). Mix up well and let set aside.

Remove the chicken from the water, and drain the pot. Add fresh water, about half way, add can of chicken broth/stock and bring to a boil.

Add the chicken back to the pot.
Begin dropping spoonfuls of dumplings into the pot, careful not to splash the hot water on yourself! Once you get all the mix into the water, turn the stove down to a low setting and cover. I usually set the cover tilted, but you may prefer to leave it on tightly.

You will start smelling the meal soon and it should be ready in about 30-40 minutes. Total time spent is about an hour, give or take. It's great for cold days and next-day lunches!
