Now if you have not been reading up on the 3.1 patch notes then you might not know about a lot of changes going on like Duel Specing, Swimming Mounts, and a brand new (unconfirmed) legendary 1 handed mace: Val'anyr, Gavel of Ancient Kings.

Blizzard is being very hush hush about the new mace but what is known is that you will have to collect 40 Fragments of Val'anyr to form the Shattered Fragments of Val'anyr (curently in the PTR you can only collect 30 fragments so there is no way to form the mace on the PTR) once you have the Shattered Val'anyr it takes you on a quest that will form the finished mace itself. Also, only Druids, Paladins, Priests, and Shamans can pick up the Fragments and are BoP, this suggests its a healing mace.

Thats pretty much what is known so far, some other info is flooting around the net but like I said, blizz is not answering any questions about the new mace. If you want to read up about it more here is a link to MMO Champ all about it.

Stats, Equip Effect, if the fragments drop from 10 or 25 man Ulduar, do you have to do the boss battles on "hard" mode, is there only going to be one type of mace or will there be different stats for each class....... yeah lot of stuff is unconfirmed lol.
