Last night, whilst I was at work, I was flipping through the pages of a National Geographic issue when I stumbled upon the article about Fridtjof Nansen. The chap apparently lived between 1861 and 1930, but what I found the most interesting part of the article was the photograph of his vessel with caption: "Driven by sails and a steam engine, with a hull built to withstand the crushing force of polar ice, Nansen's ship also carried comforts like lights run by a windmill-powered electric generator." Endulge.Anyway, I thought it was interesting and share-worthy. :3

The perfect conquer-the-elements man of his time; brave, strong, did something dumb and didn't die... All the requirements for a hero!

I was born under autumn weather, so that's the most comfortable time of year to me. (^_Q) Winter's not bad, as long as I'm indoors with mugs of cocoa, books, and blankets. XD
