So...a suggestion with the Zills. Use them in an alternate beat to accompany the song, as opposed to playing along with it. Baladi (sp?) would be a good rythem to use with marco polo.
I'm going to assume you're right handed, if not just change out the Ls and Rs.

Thanks. the patterns really help. I never got around to taking a zill class. i sign up at all the sca war zill classes but i get so into everything else i just forget to go.

You go to War?!?! Pennsic?!
I've taken the Zill Drill and Zill Mania classes at Pennsic War. If you want, I can scan the zill patterns handout from the class.
(Yay! A fellow SCA-dian!! heart )
I usualy get too distracted at War to make it to any classes, but my camp mate/troupe-mate dragged me. They were pretty worth it. lol So I totaly know how it is...How can you concentrait on making it to a class when there's so many shiney things around??
