Neko had decided to go for a little trek around her village, a bit further from the outskirts. The rest of her Pokemon were at home either snoozing, training or doing something else, so she only had three with her. That was Vixen, Java and Eve. Weird trio indeed, mixing fire, grass and bug Pokemon but they wanted to come for a walk and who was she to say no?
Kane was too preoccupied, he'd recently found his twin sister and was pulling away from everyone for the time being. Including her. Neko wasn't sure she liked it, but couldn't make him spend time with herself or anyone else.
The Wheedle at current was sat on her shoulder, looking around cautiously. He was quite frustrated at the limited amount he could do right now as a small Bug but soon he'd grow and mature and be able to protect much better.
Eve was smelling the flowers and taking in the sunshine, basking in it to be precise. The Bayleef just loved life, and everything. She had a silly grin on her face, and her leaf on top of her head was glowing a bright green. "I love nature!"
Neko giggled and Vixen rolled her eyes, but she had to admit it. The day was perfect for a stroll. "I'm just glad to get out of the Gym. Much as I love training, its a little boring seeing the same sights day in...day out."
Her trainer smiled a little sadly. "Yeah I get it, Vix, I'm sorry to have kept you all in there for so long! There wasn't much else I could do about it, though." Looking up at the sky, she noticed a few clouds floating lazily by and sighed. "Lets take a rest, just for a few minutes." She sat down on a rock and let her long black hair from its two strange knots atop her head. She made a content sound, and her head fell back. "Much better..." she mumbled.
Java got off from her shoulder then and to her lap. "I'll stay here, keep a lookout." He said, though his eyes drooped. Eve was busy playing in the bushes, noting all the different kinds of plants so Vixen lay down and puffed out some air. 'Hot', she thought.

Alorra sighed softly as she crested the hill. "Phew, that was a nice climb, huh, guys?" She chuckled as she admired the lovely day. A bright blue sky with puffy white clouds topped the green grass and colorful flowers of spring.
On this particular occasion she was accompanied by only three of her ragtag group. Fortuna, the meowth, walked along beside the girl to her left, keeping an eye out for anything shiny she could place in the small slingbag she carried.
Athena, Kirlia by breed, walked to the girl's right, holding her hand. She would every few feet lag a little to admire a stray wildflower, but otherwise stuck very close to Alorra's side.
Vulcan, the ninetales, plodded along a good five feet behind the pair, looking bored and annoyed. "My fur is getting all mussed," he repeated, having been saying that ever so often since the trek began.
((Decided it would be a bad idea for Sin to be on the outing. XD For everyone involved.))

She had the idea that she may fall asleep here, near the trees and bushes and under the nice warm sun. In fact, Neko was sure if she just slipped of her nice perch and lay on the nice soft grass...
Just as she was about to go with that mood, a rustling was heard from behind. Java had already fallen asleep and he rolled onto his back as Neko turned a head around to look. It wasn't Eve, for she'd found her way to some tulips and was smelling them.
Vixen's ear twitched and she cocked her head to the side, staring out the corner of her eye. "Hm?"
A Venonat leaped out of the bushes and ran off down the hill, he looked quite freaked out. In fact, Neko thought he had appeared totally petrified. She stood up being careful to hold Java close to her chest as he continued to nap. "That was weird.."
Eve snuck out from her spot and walked over to her trainer carefully, a little worried. "I don't see why he'd be freaked out like that."
Before anyone could really answer her or agree they heard a pounding noise, getting louder and louder. Then, while Vixen was jumped up and staring intently ahead out came a very large formation of Dodrio. Their huge bird feet slamming into the earth.
Neko shouted for them to get out of the way as she dived to one side with her Weedle clutched tightly to her. Eve was able to roll to the other side easily, being on the farther end, and she kept moving back until they'd passed.
Vixen on the other hand was completely stuck for options except to flatten herself and feel the wind as each Dodrio that passed over head skimmed her fur. None appeared harmed just as the last one left the scene. The Gym leader stood on wobbly feet, and turned in the direction they'd gone with wide eyes. It was then she noticed another human along with three more Pokemon just up ahead.

"OH MY! SOOOOOOO COOL!" Alorra squealed as she watched the Dodrio stampede by off to her right. Snap after snap she made with her camera; the pictures were sure to be blurry not only do to the motion of the Pokemon but also to the happy wibbling of the photographer.
Athena clung to her pants leg, frightened by the large bird. She was very glad to have her mistress so happy but felt the squealing was a bad idea and may attract the attention of the large angry brute.
Fortuna looked down from the tree she had climbed into at the first sign of trouble. There was an old pidgey nest up there but nothing of interest tucked inside. She looked down to the grassy area where the bird had emerged and noticed a trainer and crew. "Uh oh, this could be trouble."
Vulcan frowned at all the drama. "MUSS UP MY FUR AND I'LL KILL YOU!" He shouted after the Dodrio. Snorting and nodding his head in victory, the purple ninetales began to paw his fur to straighten it.
Amid the chaos the only one of the party aware of the presence of others seemed to be the one currently hidden out of view.

Java was now fully awake and staring wide eyed out from behind his trainers arms, looking shaken but not stirred. The male Weedle shook his head and stared upward at the woman holding him. She seemed to be focused on something else, so he turned to there and saw the group just a ways ahead.
"Are we going over there?" He asked in a small, yet even voice.
The female looked down to him and then up again "Yes, I have to see if they're alright. That was quite a shock."
Eve strode over and checked her trainer and the other two Pokemon over for any injury before also looking over. "Let's hope they're friendly, or unharmed." The Bayleef pulled out a flower with her vine and smiled pleasantly. "At least we could make first peace!"
The Ninetales, still mildly shaken, shook her head a little. "You think a tiny little flower is going to placate them if they're in team rocket or something? I've seen way too much to believe that!"
Regardless of this, the grass Pokemon strode purposefully forwards with her flower along with the rest. Neko made her way over quite fast, worried some one could really be hurt.
However upon coming closer she saw no one appeared damaged in any way. The other female even looked excited! "Excuse me, sorry. Um...Is everyone ok?"
