I'm trying to complete the Into the Fray quest. I understand that the GIB wants you to defeat the warring Tiny Terrors and Prairie Pups. It seems to me, however, that the times when you're awarded a kill (when you get the red message "[blank]/10 [enemies]") are random. I've gotten it from fighting Tiny Terrors when no Pups are around and I don't get the message when I fight the two together.
So my question is, what's the trigger to get a recorded kill? I only have about one of each side to off and I REALLY am ready to finish the quest.
