Junsei-Nikkou Village is a small Japanese village nestled in the remote forested mountains of Japan.

Well, it had started as a village . . .

Long ago, the Kindaika and Rekiden clans had fought over this Japanese Paradise. Many bloody battles took place in the forests to the west of town. They battled over the land for over 50 years, before finally settling in a truce.

That was well over 300 years ago. The two clans still inhabit the land that they settled together. Much of the town had been built by the two clans that live there.

When Japan began to modernize, the Kindaika clan embraced it, while the Rekiden clan agreed that it was necessary, they still believe that Japan holds its sense of identity, and still follow many of the old ways, even to this day.

The Kindaika clan believes in modernization, and while they do not want to turn there paradise into a metropolis, they do wish to continue bringing in as many modern conveniences as possible.

The Rekiden clan is still very traditional. They hold many of the events in town that tie it to its culture, and history. They fight to keep the town as unchanged as possible.

These slightly opposite views have some what reignited a friendly rivalry between the two families.

But, as this goes on behind the scenes, life goes on as normal for the people of Junsei Nikkou village.

Even though, this town is a little abnormal . . .

It is inhabited by its fair share of eccentrics, and more than a few odd happenings have occured.
