Since I'm bored, I took pictures of a bunch of my old art. Just to have to waste more time uploading them. Then to kill you all with graphic intensiveness! twisted

Also, since I was drawing and uploading these pics earlier on:

This is my interpretation of an Aeolian. Also the creature I'd want to look like if I was able to. Having wings is ******** epic.

This is the same guy, but less detailed, on the right. He's in a battle with another Aeolian in a dragon styled armor. While his is a bird styled armor. With close ups of each character following. I never actually finished this one. I have yet to detail the wings. But this, like many others are old and will maybe at some point in never time be touched up.

Chazy Chaz, AKA Chester Bennington. Probably one of the first portraits I've made. I never really got around to touching up his hair. But at the same time, his hair was blonde, and in kinda bright light in the photo I used. So yea. xp

A character that was somewhat based on Nightcrawler from X-Men.

A dragon in pencil crayon. Oh, BTW, this is pretty much all I did in High School. Draw during lunch. Draw during Spare... If I had more classes after Spare. Draw during class. Unless it was computer class. And these are the things I was drawing at the time.

This was just something I drew up relatively fast. My mom's friend on MSN from England or somewhere over there wanted me to draw up a design of the Grim Reaper playing a guitar. He wanted it as a tattoo. So I drew this, making his guitar a sickle guitar.

Inu Yasha. Drew this from pausing the VCR... Then having to restart the VCR every 5 minutes because if it was idle that long, it would go to normal TV.

Link... I really need to at least give him his other arm. Sure I still need to touch up the one boot, but his one arm has been a ghost for like a decade now! gonk

Drawn from the cover of Nintendo Power.

Linkin Park collage. This is at earliest 2002. I'm sure I did this before Meteora was released.

This one is from after Meteora. Most likely 2005 as I wrote Numb in there aswell.

This one has a lot of pen in it. [Well, the one before this is pen too.] I mad a few with pen, some ink pens. I ******** love how these types turned out. Like the one I made in my sig. With this I put in stuff like highlighters. While some were more realistic like this one... I made the pen marks more smooth to make a more chromed look. Others, like in my sig, I made rough, because I like the style.

This guy started me off with a s**t load of drawings that I made over the summer... Of whenever. Probably somewhere in 2003-2005. I have a s**t load of drawings of characters and places and maps... Although this is the most detailed. Each of which have notes on the back. Basically, I had in mind concept art for an awesome video game. With the action of Zelda, puzzle of Myst, and time travel of Journey Man Project 3. Like ********! I won't say anymore than that...

...Except for this. This is actually part of that series I mentioned above. These are basically 3 brothers from the Death Realm. I made them to be a sort of boss battle/the way to unlock the Death Temple. That's one of the major things about what I did with this that is very Zelda like. I made this world with a ton of regions with their own temple. Each are represented with a color in the staff of the first image. You can collect souls and s**t from things you fight which will have properties of each realm which power your spells. Hell, I made a calendar with the months and years based on each region. All dependant on where the sun and moon rise. This also controls how you're able to travel through time. I was gonna list the Realms, but I've already gone on too much about this. rofl

This is another thing I colored in pen.

A Di-Gata character I drew.

This is done with ink pens. I did it in a style like Mike Shinoda. It's funny, even before Linkin Park showed up, I was drawing weird things like this, a lot more of the robots though. Like squared robots... Not realistic. And then I see Mike's stuff and it was just like the s**t I had in mind. It just made me want to draw these types of things more, and by looking at what he did, gave me ideas to make mine look better. I love the raw s**t about it. It doesn't have to look realistic, or the lines perfect. It just has to look like I want it to, I guess. Oh, I called this one Technically Angel. It's an angel being consumed by technology. ROFL! Although it does have a bit of a deeper meaning. The angel, which is something that is preceived as being innocent/good is giving parts of itself up to this thing. The thing could be anything, like some addiction. But the angel has let itself into the addiction so long, that now the addiction is eating the angel whole. The angel, at this point, tore off one of its wings to buy it some time or maybe even to get itself away from the addiction by distracting it.

Tupac. This one I think I drew before the Chester one. You know how many people at school wanted to buy this from me?

Mummy swordsman type monster. I'm pretty sure I drew this, with a bunch of others, as ideas for Yu-Gi-Oh cards.

Yes, I am. Sorry, it's hard to choose, all of them are great. Well, if I did though, I would pick Tupac, or Di-Gata.

Dear lord Air, these are ******** amazing. O__o;

I love how you drew the wings on your first Aeolian. Very
detailed and nicely done.

The Grim Reaper drawing is haunting and cool at the same time.

I especially love your Link and wolf drawing. You can see the
similarities in them. The pointed noses, the eyes, and the ears.
Not to mention Link's shaggy hair.

The Mummy Swordsman looks extremely nice as well.

You could really do well with this sort of thing Air.

Speaking of the Twilight Link. I hadn't actually finished it. Well, it's mostly the wolf, I never got around to shading it and such. Which would have led me to shading in normal Link even more.

The one thing that is really awesome in that one, and that if I were to finish it, is how if you look at the ears, Link's collar of his shirt and the wolf's fur at the base of his neck. They would all connect if the lines were to pass into the other character. If you extend Hylian Link's ear it could line up with the back of the wolf's ear. The top of Link's collar which I hadn't put any detail in would connect to the wolf's neck. Oh, and there's already one connection. The top of both of their heads meet up at the same spot.

You know what's BS though. How I'm supposedly supposed to go to an art college to get a diploma or whatever to convince workplaces that I can draw. How is a piece of ******** paper full of writing a sign of artistic talent? Moreso to the point. How does one determine that they like the style of the artist based on that. A portfolio is all I should need. Not some stupid diploma... Who's to say that taking a course would make me any better at my creativity? What makes that piece of paper some sign that... Oh, this person is better than that one because they took a course of the arts. If it were some computer and arts class, ok... But straight up art, like people are telling me I should go to... I don't ******** need it.

One may say that I can improve my technique. But TBH, no. Art teachers... Anybody will base your work on their one likes and dislikes. Example my art teacher which I had a few times in high school. She'd tell me that I shouldn't use black. I should use a combination of black and another color because black just draws in all of the attention. Using black, like black lines... Grafetti style, you know. It's part of the style I like to use. I don't overly use it. It's not like I'm leaving a random black patch in the painting or whatnot.

Here, I'll show you some examples:

http://airazor.deviantart.com/gallery/

Look at Into The Light. That one I painted all of the black in first, with red filling up anything else. Then planning on using... I forgot what it was... It was some clear stuff that makes the painting shiny/reflective. In anycase, I was going to put a coat of that stuff mixed with red over top the whole painting to give it a haze as though it's a really hot place and such. While at the same time taking away all of the straight up black. Instead of going through the trouble of mixing the black and red together which would have taking way longer and been way more annoying to do. It probably would have even made the red more of a pukish brown or something.

Now, it didn't take me long to do this painting. One class to do that black and red. Let it dry till next class... I worked on something else while I waiting cause it didn't take me the whole class to do just that... Then next class to put the gloss... I think that's what it was. There was another thing that did near the same effect... But I think it was gloss. Yea...

Anyways, that teacher was bugging me about how I shouldn't use just black. And I kept telling her what I was planning on doing. Yet should continued to bug me about it. I was just thinking... Does this lady even try to do her own thing, or is she just so dead set on some rule she was taught that she can't accept any other way of doing things? ********! Hell, at one point she took out some of that plastic red sheet crap that you sometimes put in presents that come in bags... Not the tissue paper stuff, the shiny stuff. It's see through. Anyways, she started putting it in front of my painting trying to show me how it would look like with a shade of red over it. I was just like... Yea, that's what I'm going to do... CHILLAX! ********... In the end she loved the painting.

Now look at Linkin Park Collage. Now, this is pretty much a combination of a lot of the styles I've seen used in LP's work. The background is a similar combo of colors of the background of Reanimation. The cube-like things were based on Boris' stuff on Meteora. Yellow faced guy is something similar to something Mike would create, while the lizard guy on the opposite guy is something Joe would create. The red text has Linkin Park written in Japanese and in Free Mason... The Free Mason in reference to the writing in the In The End video. As well, there's some imagery from Hybrid Theory and Reanimation in scratchboard glued to the canvas. Now this painting can be looked at from any angle. It doesn't matter.

Backstory. Seeing as this teacher was pestering me about how I drew s**t, I showed her the album art... This is before I made this painting. She was telling me that she didn't really like the style. Haha, funny.

When I made this painting, and it was finished... Hell, even before it was finished. In fact, first day as I was making the background, the teacher was all into it. Like she was liking the background as a painting on its own. This isn't that shitty as modern "art", piss off! Anyways, she was wanting to buy it and junk... ******** no! But I think it funny that she would, seeing as it has so many black lines that she so despises. BTW, it was voted #1 art piece in the school year book. I think a painting of Bob Marley with the tiger got 2nd place.

But yea, I think I went way off course... What was I talking about again? Oh yea... Basically, art teachers are bias. I could get some douche who hates my style even more than my old teacher... Some old fart who expects realism or some s**t. You think he'd give me a diploma? At the same time, some shitty a** prof may have shitty a** style and only passes others with shitty a** style. Like... Oh, maybe he prefers modern "art". People see the diploma over the art I hear...

BTW... modern "art" = painting walls. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZStjKcdbfKc

That's what I'm talking about. I mean ********. You could pretty much get away with swapping one color for another and call it another piece of art. How the ******** is that art?! Art should involve at least a bit of talent and creativity. Not something that you can whip up in 1 minute on Paint...
