Veaka sat cheerfully on a tree limb, holding a vine attached to an elaborate trap involving mud, worms, sap, and ickyness.
It had taken a while to set up, but she had time. the travellers were progressing slowly- the man arguing with the ghost at his side- nothing like Espei from what she had heard, and something else moving beside them in the trees. She couldn't see what, and only her keen ears could tell that the rustling was not the wind.
Ooo! this was going to be hilarious! covering travellers with icky stuff... hehehehe!
