my cat keeps lick under his arm. What should i do? It has gone raw in that area.

it could be a "hot spot"....I know my dog had one on her foot where she licked it till it was raw...the best thing for you to do is to call a VET!!!!!

Dont bother calling a vet unless its really bad, many dogs Ive owned and my friends cats do that. Just but some bag balm on it and make sure to wash them frequently. It could be your cat nicked herself on a branch and is just trying to make it feel better, dogs and cats saliva has certian healing "powers" and thats why they do that because really it makes it better. If you are that worried call a vet, but otherwise they usually heal on their own.
