My great, great grandfather was walking on the beach one day and found some clay stones in a rocky outcropping. He gathered up 20 or so and skipped them into the ocean. A couple days later after doing the wash he found some clay and...a dubloon in his pocket. Turns out that's how many pirates hid their treasure. He searched for the outcropping a few times but never found it again. *shrugs* It made for a good story I hear.

Almost makes me want to get a medal detector and dig up my yard. lol

TUSHYNIPS Golden Amber Fields My dad has a metal detector, but I don't think he's ever used it and we don't live anywhere near a beach stare Screw the beach! I'd dig up my neighborhood lol YEAH! I'd be ultra-hyped ... but decent metal detectors go for a hundred or two ... maybe I'll just dig up the neighborhood anyways. It's okay as long as you wear an Indiana Jones hat or belong to the Goonies, right? *crosses fingers*
