Noel looked down, sighing. No.. Not everyone.. When someone has done something wrong.. Why should they get happiness..? If someone took someone else's happiness away? Noel sighed again and rested his forehead against against the other's chest. Do I.. Someone who only lives because of his guilt..?

Once again Jordan was left pondering, "You aren't a bad soul." He tapped Noel's head lightly and continued, "You would not harm others. Not intentionally. Therefore, you deserve happiness. No matter what reason you live..."

Jordan.. Noel looked up.. The other had such kind eyes.. Jordan was so.. Much kinder than anything else he'd ever known...
The mute gently took Jordan's hand in his own and pulled it against his chest. How.. how will the happiness come..?

Jordan laughed, eyes crinkling as he grinned openly. "Happiness has a way of finding those that just live their lives. Always in pursuit of better the world around them." He brushed a strand of hair that had fallen in front of his face away, "It's my basic philosophy for life. Doesn't make it any easier that my powers are that of a thief, but I get by well enough." He still wore the grin that was always placed across his face, watching the ripples in the water shake the reflections of the stars and moon.

How can we better such a vile world as this..? Noel looked at the lake, muttering silently to hisself.
Every day, a child dies, a mother mourns, a father curses the Gods. Brother's and sisters betray one another to acheive a goal that makes no sense to any mortal. Tis not only humans.. But a vast majority of nature on this planet.. This world is doomed to fall... And yet... We still try to make it better... Is it for the honest concern of the world...? Or for our own conscious, to make up for the mistakes we've made before..? Is there a such thing as a 'good Samaritan' or a person who honestly want's to change the world, just because they want to change the world? Who are we... who are we to dream so widely, to right the wrongs of others..? Noel shook his head, banishing the thoughts from his mind, the ones that Jordan could not hear, nor see..
Perhaps... It was the 'good Samaritan' who wronged in the first, and helped the stranger, because he deemed it a way to make up for his sins... Who knows..? One can only reflect on their own decisions..
