neko_erin_san hmmm does our bd throwing stuff at us count? OMGZ! Mr.Carpenter always throws stuff at us! But I don;t think anyone has gotten hurt from it... yet. XD

pezhi queen _of_the_dirty_ninja i once managed to make myself bleed by finding one of the few pionty parts of a sax that takes talent!!! o.O there are actually quite a few "pointy parts"...more commonly referred to as "springs" o.O gosh, ur brand of sarcasm is especially rude and annoying.... and thats not after reading just this post, either....

I was helping the percussion set up for a concert, and I was rolling a tympony (can't spell sorry) down the hallway, (it rolls like a wheel barrow you have to lift part of it up) and it got stuck between the door (the wheel wouldn't go over the bump) and i dropped it on my foot that was in a heel and then my ankle gave out. I was fine, but I had a huge scab on my foot since it was a sandle heel.

i got mad at my friend and whacked him with my clari case.... and i kno a few ppl that managed 2 cut themselves on their saxes.... and some dorks were messing wit a stand and burned themsevles on it somehow....

hmm...where to start...
there was the time we were playing at an away game in the stands.
now, this school's bleachers didn't have any sort of guards or anything to stop instruments from falling if you set them down.
so b4 we get there, our section leader grabs the whole trombone section and says, "Listen guys, don't let go of your instrument at all tonight. If you do it will fall all the way to the ground like mine did freshman year."
Now trombones sit on the second to top row and these bleachers are on a hill sloped down...
some1 forgot and his trombone fell over 40 feet all the way to the ground.
That horn hasn't played since.

This one time in the first song of a performance a flag hit my slide (trombone) and busted my lip open, and i had to finish the last 3 songs with a busted lip... not fun.
Then a few weeks later someone intentionally hit my slide causing me to chip a tooth on my mouth piece...

We were having eighth grade night(when the eighth graders from feeder schools come and play in the stands with us. This one just happened to be for the feeder school down the street, where my bd's wife worksXD) and an old friend of mine from elementary school(She was held back a year) dropped her clarinet down the stand. We have a metal slab underneath our stands so if someone drops something they can retrieve it at the bottom(XD) She got it but it was broken. This was while we were on the field.
At a concert I was impaled in the head with a flute.
I was trampled by the flute sl and ended up trambling another person as I tripped. Luckily the bd saw and stopped us before any of use fell, but my toenail was broken and bleeding. literally right before state marching festival. We were about to go in and pack the bus...
Our band room is lower then ground level, just by a bit, so there is a small hallway. If you want to go up, you either have to swing your legs over the small wall or go all the way around to the stairs or ramp. So, after rehearsal once I was swinging one leg over the wall and my pants rippedo.0 Now I can't find them to fix them...
Last year I practiced so long once I ended up having a cut on my bottom lip from my teeth pressing into it.

my freidn was messing around with his barri sax by pretending it was a machine gun. then he swings it around and hit at least something(wall,person,etc)
and ends up with some sort of dent :/

i was moving a xylo and i got my finger caught between the latches...and...it close snap and it caught my skin..... and it alll came off....
like my thumb was exposed and s**t xD
it was bad...and we had a music festival that night... i had a big a** bandage on my finger and playing my b clar xD
