If anyone hasn't read it in the news, check out Formula 1's new wing proposal for 2007. It has the centre of the wing cut out to increase air flow over the car. As a result, wind tunnel tests show that a car following behind the one in front can actually get a draft pull! If that wasn't saying enough, they may also include the return of these babies:

The Side Wings! Score... I remember those. They were a hazard though, because air hoses were above pit stalls, and the sidewings ripped off cars if they collided with a hose.
In other rule change proposals for 2006-2007, the return of racing slicks (probably seeing A1 GP did that) has prompted the FIA to discuss that option, and it's very likely it will happen. Judging from the tyre wear we've seen, it's about time they "IRL up" the series.
