Ninja Gaiden Sigma II (AKA Ninja Gaiden II) has been confirmed for the PS3 and is due this fall. The game will have added levels, Ayane as a playable character (She was not in NG2 at all), PSN support, and more!  Itagaki must be rolling around right now. He did once say: "if Ninja Gaiden II ever appeared on the PS3, it would be a loss of face for everyone involved."

I was rather happy to read that, and I found out by accident too. This will definatly be a must buy for me.
The only reason he said it would be a loss of face is that he seems to have an issue with Sony, yet loves the devil.. I mean Msoft. (sorry, I have been having issues with Msoft of late, and my hate has increased, I am cursing them because they are the reason I cant get the DLC for Fallout 3 (PC) with their cursed LIVE.)
I really think he just needs to grow up about it, he tries to act like he is cool and all that, and that no one would dare do something he said no too, but he really doesnt have as much pull as he thinks he does. Especially now.

ive never played any of the ninja gaiden games
but i might give this one a rent

This version will have online co-op play AND Momiji from Dragon Sword will be playable. Extra DLC will be added.
I believe this game will be done in 1080p.

I hope its in 1080p, it is one of the things people have attacked the PS3 on and they can't seem to understand that its the developer that decided that.
I really can't wait, I enjoyed the first one a lot.

I really can't wait, I enjoyed the first one a lot. The first Ninja Gaiden Sigma could do 1080p. I don't know if it was rendered in it though. TBH the only next gen games to be rendered in 1080p are pretty basic games. Last I heard any of the big games to do 1080p was just upscaled or something.

I know the game X Blades says 1080p is supported, I never noticed that Killzone 2 was actually 1080i until just now.

Well, at least the game is coming to PS3. Playstation The Official Magazine had a cover story on it, but I'm looking through the article and it says they're gonna take down the goriness level of this one compared to Ninja Gaiden II. They say they don't want blood, gore, and violence to be a big selling point of the game. :/
And I didn't see anything about screen resolution either.

I drop in the gore isnt going to effect sales, or it shouldnt, I sometimes find games (and some movies) have been taking gore levels WAY to high lately to the point that it actually makes the game less enjoyable.
