I play Sax normally and learning to play the flute....

Oh, definitely flute/piccolo. How else do they get those high notes out?
Or maybe trumpet.
In my opinion, every instrument that can get really high in notes takes the most air.
Hehe, even the tuba. They need a lot of air for those notes they have.

I beleive tuba takes more air becasue there is more tubing the air has to go through rather than the flute which is just straight

well i play the trumpet and sometimes depending on the note the trumpet can take a lot of air but the tuba probably does. but like one of the smallest girls in my band plays the tuba, and well, and she cant produce that much air. so who knows?
