As Renkin prepared his attack, Validus would close his eyes, no longer trusting them and following the mass of energy that was the attack. He would then boost his Hierro to the max as well as using the Brazo de la cuchilla on his right arm. It was not to defend himself from Renkin's attack, but to keep his arm from exploding by simply wielding his own.
Grasping the red energy blade in both hands, Validus closed is eyes. "Cero Oscuras, Oblicido Espada." The crimson red sword in his hands would suddenly become pitch black and grow with unimaginable power. "...Oblicido Espada veces dos!" (Times Two) Releasing the sword with his left hand, Validus held the black cero blade in his hand, waiting on Renkin's strike. ".... make sure it hits Renkin, because if it doesn't, no Hierro of any living hollow, vastos lord or otherwise, can stop this blade." By now, the power of 4 of his Vero Oscuras' had been compressed in to the katana like blade, giving it the power to tear through anything like tissur paper. In reality, that much power actually trumped the power of the Gan Rey Cero Renkin was preparing, but not the destructive force, simply because the power of the Oblicido Espada was confined to a much smaller space. Validus had one hit with this, for when it hit, he would not be able to create another one of this magnitude for a full day, or risque destroying his body from the impact.
It was time for the final strike. The ultimate Cero, vs the ultimate sword. If Renkin fired from a distance, Validu's could dodge it easily, but if the Arrancar got to close, then Validus would strike early before the Gan Rey Cero could be released. Renking had one choice to make, if it was the wrong one, he died, if it was the right one, he would win.
(It's these kind of epic finishes that make me all excited.)

 ((like i said petross you don't have cero oscuras. somaruno i talked with you through p.m's already so i'm guessing you know now. we're getting ready for the hollow war so we have to gather all the espada.))

 Renkin stopped his attack as he seen Ganga above him. Renkin then snapped his fingers and a blinding light flashed in the eyes of everyone around him. When the light faded Renkin was back to his arrancar self and he was standing in the air. It was lucky Ganga came when he did. The battle could have had either Renkin or Validus die and then Gangas Army would have been weakened to an unfixed point. Renkin looked at Ganga and said.
"Your right Lord Ganga you will need all of us in this war."
After Renkin said that he placed his hands in his pockets and then he looked down at Validus and said to him.
"Validus don't die until we fight again. Your my opponent and im the one thats going to defeat you remember that."
With that Renkin disappeared using Sonido.-exit-

(Oh... Somaruno, you made me mad. Orichi-kun informed me that you were NOT ever a Vastos Lord... so next time.... you are in big s**t when you fight me, because I won't play nice. Fair warning.)
Letting his sword fall away Validus' cape engulfed him in a cocoon, only to fade away, leaving the hollow back in his human form. "... if he ever says he was a vastos lord again... then I kill him before he can release. A warrior doesn't boast about accomplishments that he did not complete." Sheathing his sword over his back Validus turned to face Ganga. "If It was not for the war, I would be angry at you, but as it stands, we do need every member we have." Placing his hand over his heart in the form of a fist Validus raised his head high. "... I ask your forgiveness, but if he challenges me again, we will fight to the death, and I ask you not to interfere my lord."
