New trainer, ex-member of Team Galactic
Personality:
Sol is a pretty quiet person, reserved and unemotional. She rarely likes to talk to other people, and usually people have to start the conversation with her to get her to say anything. Never the less, if you get to know her, you’ll find she’s quite kind, with a fierce protectiveness over her pokemon and friends. She’s also easily forgiving, considering her roots.
As for her old team…She doesn’t speak on the subject. You’ve got to be a really close friend to get Sol to speak about them. To be honest, the reason she doesn’t talk about them is her own fear of her feelings towards them. See, she doesn’t hate them, even though she purposely left. She had friends in Team Galactic, some of the only friends she’s ever known, even if they were fellow criminals. She has mixed feelings about her ex-teammates and Commanders. She couldn’t bring herself to hate them if she tried, and that’s why she doesn’t speak about them.
She’s also a semi-honest person. She may lie or tell the truth depending on what she thinks best suits her purposes- this also includes on whether the person she’s talking to needs to know. For instance, she may never tell a traveling partner that she was once of Team Galactic, but if they figure it out on their own and confront her, she won’t lie about it.
History:
Her life is basically a bit of a blur before the age of thirteen. Some events stick out, though, like being told of the “death” of her mother and father at the hands of Team Rocket and then discovering, upon joining Team Galactic, that they were alive via a bit of curious research. Wandering the streets of Veilstone as one of several orphans in an orphan’s home and being “taken in” by a member of Team Galactic was another. After turning thirteen, though, she joined said Team and began a different life. After all, she didn’t really have anywhere else to go, and this would open up new possibilities.
She took a new name- the one she has now, since she can’t really remember her real one- and was placed under the command of Commander Saturn. For around two years she was a loyal member until she found out about a pokemon that was considered the God of Time- Dialga. Her mind began to wonder about this pokemon, this creator of time. Perhaps it could help her- perhaps it could send her back in time and she could stop those Rocket members from causing this whole mess. Grow up in a new life, one without Team Galactic in it.
But, as she continued to do the work they required of her, she began to realize that they could not get a hold on this God of Time. It, with the combined efforts of a few other trainers, stopped them from getting their hands on Dialga every time.
And so she quit, aiming to get Dialga herself. That is still her goal even now, although maybe not as strong as before. But memories of her life with Team Galactic haunt her, and she tries to avoid them so that the grunts –she wished she hadn’t gotten to know everyone so much- and Commanders don’t tighten their grip and drag her back in when they see her.
After all, she doesn’t know how long she can avoid the only thing she’s ever really known, and the grunts claimed no member ever stayed away from Team Galactic for long.
Appearance:
Sol’s outfit tends to be pretty simple- a long sleeved black shirt and long black pants to match. She also wears the white boots from her old Team, although they are usually hidden by her pants above the ankles. Sometimes, if she thinks she’ll need to run, she’ll stuff her pants legs down her boots down that they don’t get in the way. She wears a very dark midnight blue coat that goes to around her knees. The cuffs on it and the bottom of it slowly fade into obsidian black.
Sol also has her pin from Team Galactic- the golden piece of metal shaped like a G that once identified her as being part of the gang. It hangs on a necklace beneath her shirt to remind her not to go back.
Her hair is a very dark blue-turquoise, which is all that remains of the blue-green color of a typical grunt’s hair. It’s long, past her shoulders, and usually tied up in a ponytail. A few semi-long strands are left out that frame her face, and she has bangs that fail to hide her crystal-like light blue eyes. Her eyes have darker flecks of midnight blue in them, but overall the main color resembles ice.
