The name's Ashley but you can call me Shout.
Ohey, I'm s h o u t s i e.
I enjoy science, reading, and body modification.
I have multiple piercings, and am looking for more.
I would also like to get tattoos in the near future (in the next few months!).

My piercings:
I have four lobe piercings: 8.25 mm in the bottom holes, and .81 mm in the top two. I have one cartilage piercing also at .81 mm.

My future:
On 8/28/11 I plan on getting a tattoo. It's described below under the title of "shoulder blades" (I'm going to get it between my shoulder blades). I also plan on getting my septum pierced around that time as well, and may also get a dermal anchor near my left eye.

What I want:
Piercings:
Facial --
Cheeks
Septum √
Spider Bites
Dermal near Eye

Ears --
Industrial
Rook
Snug
Tragus

Tattoo Ideas:
Shoulder Blades -- [I plan on getting this as my first tattoo on 8/28/11 or thereabouts] I will have an image uploaded soon, since I'm almost done drawing it. A description of it is this: A sparrow (teal and purple) flying upward atop a musical staff with a G clef, 4/4 time signature, and an F#. In the staff are the first two bars to Israel Kamakawiwo 'ole's "Somewhere Over the Rainbow." The staff ripples like a ribbon in the middle, and to the bottom left of the staff, some where is pictured in old style tattoo text, to the top right over the is in old text, and on the bottom right is rainbow - all in caps. I plan to get these letters colored, but I'm not sure.
Full body dragon --
The dragon will be pictured in traditional Chinese style. It should be red, yellow, and orange, the colors of cold fire. The tail should start on my left thigh and end just after my hip. This is where the body will start to curve around my waist, and wrap around to my back. The dragon's body will climb up my back and its head will end at just about my left shoulder blade. Its mouth will be open and breathing fire. The fire will cover my whole left shoulder and turn into a sleeve on my left arm.
Left arm sleeve --
I'm not too sure of what I want the dragon's fire to turn into at this moment in time. For now, I do know that flames will lick my arm. They will reach about halfway down my bicep and that's where my sleeve will begin to morph into other things that are important to me. The flames may mold into words and faces as well. I have time to think about this and I will spend lots of it contemplating just exactly what I want. This sleeve will probably include the sign of the Rooster and the Virgo, Rooster in both Chinese and English, along with a rooster itself being born from the flames, much like a phoenix would be.
Right arm sleeve --
My right arm sleeve is a work in progress on paper. It will be comprised of a set of things that are very meaningful and beautiful to me. Music will no doubt be the main focus of this sleeve, as well as the beauty in all of the small things, like nature, etc. Maybe I'm just a hippie on the inside.
Nape of the neck
NEVER SAY DIE,
I'm gonna get Never Say Die at the nape of my neck.
There are lots of reasons, but mostly.. it's inspiring to me. I love The Goonies. It's a wonderful, beautiful story about a group of kids doing what they need to do to make a change in their lives - for the better. & the phrase itself.. Goonies Never Say Die! It's just so inspiring to me. It strikes a bell with me now especially because I'm going through some rough s**t, and I feel like always remembering not to say die, to just pull through.. would help me out a lot. [9/30/11]

    @Lance Castle -- Thanks. I forgot to mention that I want "Awake and Unafraid," and "A Shout to Remember" tat'd in a calligraphy style on my shoulders or something. I don't know which one I want, really. Not yet anyway.

    I've tried to draw out one of them but I'm too picky. .__."

I have a few updates, as would be normal for any teenager.

- I never stretched my ears to the 8g like I said I would because the tapers were too short and my ear isn't pliable to go so fast [they weren't long like the others but they were clear --- I was going to do the stretching without my mother's permission... .___.;;].
- I've changed my mind about the piercings I want to get in the future again.
xx I still want a septum and spider bites, but I'm sure I want a bridge -- problem is I gotta get rid of my glasses or get a pair that rests further down on my nose. I can worry about this when I'm out of the house... x___x;
- I still like most of my tat ideas, but I'm not so sure about the rooster. I might get one if I can find someone who can do extremely intricate bird tattoos, because I don't want it to look stupid when it's not fresh, y'know? I hate that tats that look like crap, but who wouldn't? I'm very picky. I suppose that's good in this case. Basically, I'll get my rooster if I can find an amazing tattoo artist that isn't ******** expensive.
- I'll probably get my meshing dragon tat as well, but I don't know where anymore. I've decided I want a full body tat in the shape of a dragon as well. I'll have to explain it below.

Full body dragon explanation;;
So, the dragon's tail would start on my right thigh and travel upward and across my belly. Across my belly would be the dragon's belly basically. It would go directly across my belly, actually and wrap around to my back. The dragon's wings would probably go down my left side and the dragon's head would end in about the middle of my back. Fire would be coming out of the dragon's mouth and the flames would be licking my shoulder.

That tat would take a lifetime to get... .___." And I'd have to find an amazing artist to get that tat as well. If that dream never comes true I'll get a sleeve of some sort that I'm trying to design. It would be a collage of multiple meaningful things. Like, musical staffs with music from Bach and Mozart within the staff and stuff of that nature. <3

Nice, I love the dragon idea, I was secretly thinking of getting something like that.

Do you want it to be a chinese dragon or more of a western dragon?

Oh, nifty, Lance!

I'd prefer a traditional Chinese dragon, mostly because I really adore the Chinese culture. It's a beautiful one, and one I'd like to incorporate into my own life. I don't have to be Chinese or Asian of any sort to respect another culture and incorporate it into my own life, do I? o;

It all sounds pretty interesting, just make sure that you don't jump the gun and get some home made tattoos or piercings in your rush.

Did you plan on gauging your ears at all?

No way will I ever rush into getting something. I am waiting until I'm 18 not only because of my mom, but because I don't want to make stupid decisions.

Yes, I planned on stretching my ears before hand. I actually talked to one of our local piercers in hot topic. His girlfriend works there, lol. Also, I frequented this guild and the stretching & piercing thread for a month or so. Everyone gave me tips and explained lots of things for me there, Cayliin, I think it was gave me a lot of help, too. (:

I'm very aware of what I'm doing and if I have questions, I ask Chris or Matt (they work at the Golden Lotus).
