I don't think that I'm the only one that has noticed that the guild has been dying,but if you haven't noticed,it has.It's like a ghost guild that only a handful of people post in.


The scary part is that we have over 200 members.Only about 10 of them have posted more than twice ever in any of the forums.Other guilds that have around 50 members post way more.Even as much as 4x as us.


Ok,the point that I'm trying to get across is that this guild can be more than just join,sit,and watch.This guild has potential and can be the best guild in gaia if we try to create a friendly community.Yes,the best guild in gaia.


If anybody has any suggestions,post them here.And you know what?I'll even turn this into a contest by tossing in a reward of 5,000 gold or more to the person with the most successful idea.

I think what might help are themes...like for the holidays...I know its a lot of work for the poor page designer...but if the guild seems like its being updated a lot maybe people will see that its not just sitting here...

also I think testing our minds is always fun...I mean we have the world at or finger tips! I like the idea of posting a picture of a animal and giving hints to help people guess what it is... smile Or geeky triva..yes I have that too (sighs..) so geeky.. smile

I know I told you about the poor gaia a week idea. where one member who is truely needy gets picked and people in the guild donate WHAT THEY CAN to that member. I mean youd be amazed how pissy I was when I bought things full price before I could buy a market pass only to find that the stuff was cheaper.

I also think that showcasing some of the items on gaia might help. I say this because I only started a week ago..Im obsessive, but I didnt know, and still dont know what some of the stuff was!! I saw a winged eared bunny on deviant art..had now clue it was based of a evolving item here...then trying to figure out its name? OI! So maybe doing that would be cool...

Attempt to draw your own avatar or fan art...(laughs) I saw attempt because while I can draw....people arent my ...ahem...strength.

ok..Im going to stop rambling...sorry been up a LOOOOONNNNGG time.

another thought...I know this was something that the guild I was in on neopets did, if a member isnt active for 2-3 months they either lost pervilages or where bumped out. sorry cant spell. but I see what you mean, so many members and no posts...we could be obnoxious and message each one asking whats going on...(laughs) pirate

Those are all brillliant ideas,Yoshibo!As you can tell,the poor gaian of the week idea has been brought into reality as the member of the month thread.They both share the same concept.

xd I do support the idea of asking around some of the members why they haven't posted.I only wish I could send out announcements like the mods can... To all of the caring members biggrin on't be afraid to act like salesmen that call your house about 15 times asking you to buy a product that it entirely pointless to have in your life!Go on and bug those silent members!

ahhh ha ha ha!! thats what Im here for..to be insane and poke people awake!!

I think a gentle announcement is what will bring people back...like send an email to everyone saying whats new with the guild...that might help!

halloween easters thanksgiving we have alot of prizes given out contest and we have party and each guild member should get like 50 gold or an item might take long so we dod't really have to do that or all guild members come in town and have a party and send invites and stuff thats going around the guild seems like everybody needs to enjoy the guild again
