I'd say both are equal, you just see more guys play trumpet in jazzbands.
but why is that? so people make the assumption that they are better than us girls? seriously, i can play just as loud and good as a guy. not to be cocky of anything, but seriously.

Well that was so maybe back in teh 50's but now we have trumpet players like Ingred Jenson that can outplay any guy!
