Two short ones I wrote in the car today.
My Love, O my Love, Would that my tongue were unloosed to speak of thee That I may tell the world of thy grace And share my heart with thee freely. But I am dumb struck, my tongue tied up in knots With only my pen to elude to thy wonders.
I love you, how much I cannot say. My heart beats when you are near My spirit leaps when in your presence When you hold my hand, I melt for joy When you kiss my lips, I die a thousand deaths You lift me up, putting my care above your own You gift me with confidence while I am in your shadow You comfort me with your quiet words You calm me with gentleness The women who do not know you weep in confusion The women who do know you weep in despair Because you love me, and are faithful Because you love Me

The old man sings beneath the willow tree The Children gather round to listen The people call us fools Because we choose to believe.
