Garenth bounded gracelessly into the water, kicking up the surf and crashing chest-first into it, the water Lucieth flicked at him returned back at the brown as he plunged down next to him, going all the way down until just his multi-faceted eyes were sticking out of the water, whirling contentedly.

Despite his better judgment, V'len lifted his eyes slowly at the sound of his name, and was met by A'kor's ever-charming, ever-knowing smirk. Shards. It certainly wasn't hard to see how the brownrider got so many women to his bed. Farenth, even an "ice man" such as himself couldn't keep stop from melting with a look like that. The blonde took his time sliding his riding jacket from his shoulders, eying the redhead for a moment and quirking an eyebrow.

"Are you suggesting we skinny dip? Because if you are, you're going first." V'len responded a little tartly, a hint of amusement flickering across his features. Not that he'd mind. But of course he couldn't tell A'kor that. Or could he? The bluerider didn't even know anymore. It use to be that if some young brazen rider tried to seduce him, male or female, he wouldn't even glance at them twice. Now... now he was almost enjoying it. He kind of liked playing hard to get, because A'kor just tried harder to get him. Never gave up, and he always won. It was just a matter of when. The fight was part of the fun.

But sometimes V'len wondered how A'kor would respond if he started playing his game? Maybe he'd try it. Maybe.

Lucieth rolled into deeper water at the splashing, rumbling his amusement at his clutchmate's exuberance. I guess Yours doesn't take you out much, does he? the Brown asked Garenth bemusedly. But for all that I get out of the Weyr a lot, I don't get fed much more than the rest of us, he grumbled, shooting a displeased glance at the shore. Mine better keep his promise.

A'kor, unaware of Lucieth's annoyance, advanced on V'len with a certain look in his eye. When he saw the eyebrow quirk he felt a little thrill. Faranth, this man was fun to play with. Even after these Turns, he was never sure if he'd manage to convince V'len this time. There was always a chance that, if he didn't play his cards right, the cold rider would shut him out and he'd have to blueball it or find some other outlet for his release. But of course, he'd had plenty of practice. He knew how to fanangle his way into V'len's pants by now, he hoped.

That time both Lucieth and Garenth had gone after the same green and both had lost... that'd really been the epiphany. Everyone messed around as candidates, but that had been something else. A'kor's eyes darkened at the memory.

"Mmm... I don't mind going first," A'kor grinned. "But if I do it, you can't back out at the last second," he warned, tugging on one of V'len's sleeves to pull the jacket off his arm.

'Sometimes. Mine doesn't care to go out much,' Garenth responded, ducking his head under, his lithe body moving almost effortless through the water. He surfaced a moment later just behind the brown, eying him sympathetically. 'Food is short. You're larger than I, you are probably very hungry.'

V'len didn't pause when A'kor piped up to his comment, but continued to slowly remove his excess clothing, slowly peeling off his riding gloves before bending over a bit to pull off his white tunic, the sun much too hot to keep much more than necessary on. "I would not back out," He replied, his voice muffled a bit as his shirt went over his head, "but I'm not sure you could do anything about it if I did."

Shaking out his blonde hair as he lowered the shirt, the bluerider glanced over his shoulder, freezing as he watched A'kor's eyes darkened conspicuously, feeling a sudden chill. "Don't." V'len responded quickly, pointing at A'kor accusingly, trying to keep the brownrider...and maybe himself... under control. Farenth, that look. He wasn't sure exactly how much of that he could take, but he was sure it wouldn't be much, if the redhead continued like that. Then this cool little vacation would get a little hot.
