Go see this movie, preferably in the IMAX, but in a regular theater it's probably just as awesome. It didn't get enough press or attention from critics as it deserved but I think everyone is finally coming around to the fact that superhero movies aren't the cheesy crap they used to be. The special effects and fights are great, and the characters look flawless as compared to the comic. If you've never read the comic don't worry, you won't be lost watching it, the whole story actually kinda pulls you in and makes you want to know what will happen next. Taking kids might be bad idea though since there is alot of bad language, nudity, sex, and of course the always present violence that you would expect. I don't want to say much about the storyline because I'd hate to ruin it for anyone who hasn't seen it, so I won't say more. But I do recommend seeing this film, it gets two thumbs up, and 4.5/5 stars (It lost a half in my mind because of all of the nudity that wasn't necessary).

to be honest i read the graphic novel, which is sort of a must before you see the movie. and watched it in theaters, one of my favorite superhero movies of all time. the only part that upset me was the fact they cut out the alien in the end. but the explosion was still pretty nice
