After spending the afternoon flashstepping in and out of shops, throwing his grandfather's and godfather's bank accounts around, he managed to get most of the things he wanted to accomplish on their way to being finished, and he held the most important one in his lightly clenched fist. Sparing it one quick glance he saw the black velvet box, and closed his eyes to remember the beautiful ring he had picked out for.
He snuck into the castle to find her quietly snoozing in a love seat and knelt down beside her, lightly brushing her arm, then laid his head down on one of the arms and sighed peacefully.
just being in her presence made him relax... something he hadn't been able to do in what seemed like ages. it was nice for a change. His lifestyle was so demanding of him, physically and mentally. Kaosti was happy to just be able to rest next to her for a while.

Sybil stirred from her slumber with a blank stare on her face. "Kaosti..." She mumbled, eyes wide in surprise, "Call for a maid... My water broke."
Leaping to his feet, Kaosti bolted out the door, found the nearest person, and told them that Sybil's water broke... Moments later there was a healer, maids rushing about and as Kaosti went to join Sybil's to support her in labor, he was stopped.
the man holding Kaosti's arm was begging with his eyes for forgiveness, but requested he follow tradition and not enter the room.
Tradition, Kaosti thought, Tradition! It's 'tradition' that your queen go through one of the most difficult and painful processes of a woman's life ALONE?! Rage boiled through his body, and he soon found himself in a fit of rage, tackled to the floor by many butlers.

Sybil begins to go into labor, the maids and nurses take her to a bedroom and half an hour later she gives birth to a beautiful glowing baby girl. her skin is golden and shimmering her hair a deep brown, and has the eyes of warm honey. she is awake and alert looking around and listening tentatively. Sybil is given the baby to hold, and Kaosti is finally allowed to enter the room.

Bursting through the door, Kaosti snarled at all the people in the room as well as the people holding him down outside. How dare they not let him inside to see a child he has claimed to be his own, even though it was not from his seed.
He rushed to Sybil's side and kissed her hand tenderly, while brushing through her hair, " Are you alright, and did everything go well? " Kaosti asked with a sincere gaze in his eyes.
He noted the little bundle of gold in her arms and couldn't help but glow. It was a little girl and he was so proud.

Sybil nodded, "it went realy well. Too well, i didnt feel a thing, i feel fine." she smiled at him then handed him the baby. "this is Lunaray"

Kaosti took the bundle in his arms and smiled, "Hello little one... how are you?" he crooned while brushing through her soft brown hair.

the golden baby looked at him with her wide glowing eyes and smiled. she then opened her small mouth and said in a soft voice "I am well thank you."
one of the nurses said in a whisper "it really is a god."

Kaosti smiled at the child after the shock of her speaking passed and he said softly, "Goddess... Not God." they were the only words he could muster. After only a few short months of pretending to be a father he suddenly felt what it felt like to hold the one thing you would die for in your arms... Well maybe the second thing you would die for.
