If there was anything that Sylvera loved as much as her family and the snow, it was the stars. They were all so bright, and each one stuck out in the dark sky like a glittering lightening bug. She had loved learning about all the constellations as a child, and could still point out a few. Now she had children of her own to teach them to.
As she walked across the field just out by the shop, she wondered if she would meet anyone interesting. This field was where she had met several friends (as did her son Adriel), and Sylvera was sure that she would meet more today...even if it was only just one.
Sitting down, Sylvera tilted her head upward, hair fluttering all around her. "What could the stars have in store for me today?" she whispered with a slight smile. She continued to do so until she heard a slight noise behind her, and turned to see who, or what, was there.

Hokkyokusei was a kyunru of the night. She enjoyed the peace that it seemed to bring, aswell as the company. The stars were glittering brightly, so her fur glistened equally. As she made her way through the brush she spotted another of her kind.
Her hair was white as snow, and her fur black as the night surrounding them. Kyo walked closer to the other female and bowed her head. "Good evening."

Sylvera smiled as the pretty kyun approached her, taking in her appearance as she did so. She indeed matched the night sky, her eyes sparkling like the brightest star, her body easily blending in. Her accessories were just as amazing, and her long hair and tail ended in a cloud-like way. Sylvera found her to be very elegant, and was happy that she had come out to the field tonight.
"Good evening," she replied, nodding her head. "How are you this fine night?"

"I am doing well." Kyo smiled and sat next to the other. "My name is Hokkyokusei. You may shorten it if you'd like, as it is long." She tilted her head and gave a sweet smile with her glowing eyes. Perhaps this female would become a close companion, as they already had such a large thing in common; a love for the night.

Nodding again, Sylvera turned her sights to the stars. They really were beautiful, and Hokkyo looked like she had almost just fallen from them.
"So your name is Hokkyo? That is a very nice name. Unique." Moving only her eyes, she looked at the other female. "You are very pretty. You really do reflect the night sky."
Turning her head to face the star kyun now, a bright smile spread across her face. "My name is Sylvera, and it's quite a pleasure to meet you. What are you doing on this fine night, if I may ask? Besides the obvious, of course."

"The pleasure is all mine." Kyo bowed her head slightly and then raised it so that her eyes met with Sylvera's. "Thank you, you are too kind. As for your question, I am just out for a walk. I find the peace and beauty of the night to be most tantalizing. I always think clearer at this time, it is much easier to work out the problems of the day in the moonlight."
"And what of you, my dear Sylvera? What brings you out on such a glorious night?" She let her wings hang loosely from her sides, letting them act as a shall or cape.

"Similar to you," Sylvera replied as she set her gaze back toward the sky. "I come out here to think about life. Well, my life anyway." Though her life as a child ended in tragedy, the family she had now was quickly making up for it. She was so proud of her two sons, and she adored her Lasuk. He was an excellent father, and as she spotted a shooting star, Vera noted that she would tell him next time they met.
Then of course there were those two kun she lived with, but that was another story.
"So miss Hokkyo," Sylvera said softly as she unconsciously fluttered her wings, "will you tell me a little about yourself, or are you a mystery?"

Kyo gave a seemingly clever smile. "I suppose I am a bit of a mystery yes. A not so eventful past, from a quite far away place. Then again, I could think my life has been so uneventful, and it could be the greatest adventure imaginable to someone else."
"I've always sort have been on my own, met a few others along the way, but none have stayed. Though I guess the night sky has always been company enough for me most nights." She paused. "Not that I don't appreciate meeting you or anything."

Sylvera nodded. "I know what you mean. Sometimes it's nice to be alone. You can learn a lot about yourself that way." In fact, the unicorn spirit knew all too well how being alone could make you realize things that you never would have learned about yourself otherwise. That you're vulnerable, shy, lonely. Perhaps though these were feelings that she once felt, today they were a bit different. Happy, scared, shy were the ways she felt now. Happy about her knew family, but scared for their safety. Her past could be blamed for that, however. Though the shyness was still there, it was less now, and she hoped that it was not noticeable.
Eyes still fixed upon Kyo, she noticed that, in fact, her stars did glow along with the sky. Even her eyes where sparkling, and the blue with purple gradient was incredibly beautiful. Her accessories were very nice, and looked very expensive. She wondered if they had been gifts to her, and if they had been made from ivory. She also had four wings.
"Do you think it's easier to fly with four wings?" she asked. Though Vera had two smaller wings on her head, she still only had two regular sized ones on her back.
