I forgot I have jury duty in April! *searches for letter grumble grumble grumble* and it's the week of my finals! CRAP! *mutters about stupid invalid people* I seriously hope I don't get called in!

*silently searches for lighter to burn with* I know right... when I first saw the letter all I could think was "s**t THEY CAUGHT UP WITH ME!" But then I was like oh... *filled out paperwork and prayed to every for of God she knew that she wouldn't get called*

Jury Duty during finals, That sucks a**. I think it happened to me and I was 3+ hrs from home. Not fun but I appealed.

*slams head on table top* Oh I know! and what's worse is I don't think I can miss any of my finals and not have my GPA suffer *growls* why do these things always happen to me!
Oh and I haven't even gotten a letter back about what my juror number is, which means I have to go to the sheriff's office (who is my ex boyfriends uncle gonk ) and ask for it or a new one! Otherwise how the hell am I supposed to know if I even get called! scream

I'm not in school yet so... yea. it's going to be interesting going to school w/ a kid and juggling a crappy job.

Well school itself isn't really all that hard... I just don't like to juggle important things... especially ones that if I don't show up (accidental or not) could land me in jail... anyway classes are almost over anyway so that in itself makes me happy!

Pray for me this week is jury duty week. And I still have no idea what my number is! But luckily I have no finals that week, not to mention a car so even if I get called in I'm screwed. So if I'm not here for a while tell my parents to pay my bail!

XD OMG I totally forgot about that... but no I haven't gotten called in yet and in a little while I'm going to call in and see if I can get it postponed until the second week of may. But that probably won't happen either so I just hope I'm lucky and no one does anything overly stupid to get me called in...

blaugh HA HA HA! I have just successfully moved back my jury duty until the second week of May. Not that having it at all is very fun but at least classes wil be over by then! Thank God the secretary took pity on me!

OKAY, SO FORMER AND/OR CURRENT JURORS, I ASSUME THAT AS A JUROR, ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE WITH EMPLOYERS AND SCHOOLS SO THAT YOU DON'T GET INTO TROUBLE.
IF YOU GET CALLED FOR JURY DUTY, THEY DO HAVE TO BE UNDERSTANDING ABOUT THAT, RIGHT?
I MEAN, JURY DUTY IS AN ACCEPTABLE REASON FOR GETTING FINALS POSTPONED, ISN'T IT? AND NON-PENALIZED (IF NOT PAID) VACATION DAYS?
