Getting an email bomb.
While I was out on Saturday night with my mother. My brother was watching my father and using the machine. The machine says "HEY! VIRUS ALERT! Do you want to quarantine it?"
So instead of reading what was presented and taking care of the problem, he decides to RESTART THE COMPUTER
this causes the virus to infect and compromise the registry.
Then he calls me on my cell phone and explains what happens.
I got home at 6pm to begin decontamination and repair, at about 8:30 I start the emergency data backup, at around 11pm I begin formatting and re installation.
at 2:30am... I stabilize everything and go to bed.
at 9 I wake up and get back to work,
It is now about 11:30, and all I need to do now, is update all the drivers and security stuff.
On a related note, I saw WALL-E while the computer was being wiped.
and WALL-E... was pretty awesome.

Wall-E reminded me I had a heart.
After watching the movie I realized I had to act but the computer was right next to the exit to the room.
So instead of doing something productive I got on here and talked to you guys... xp

The fact that people create viruses just to raise hell baffles me. That's true malice. I'm glad you got things back to working again though!
Wall-E is the bomb. It reminded me of Charlie Chaplin and how something can be so silly with minimal noise/voices. I saw it with my sister and my friend Keeley and neither of them enjoyed it. My sister said it reminded her of Idiocracy and Keeley probably just didn't understand the humor. I was happy when it won the Oscar!

Funny thing is... I watched Idiocracy right before Wall-E I had LOTS of time to kill between formatting and partitioning. and on that note... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ru6p5NLXxvY'Drink Brawndo... because you can't drink a car battery' and yes it's a real product.

You know what's awesome? You are. Lol.
I made a virus. It was simple and harmless, and takes like 10 seconds to delete. If you touch the keyboard, a bouncing ball would appear on the screen. And every time you typed, there'd be more bouncing balls, until the screen was covered. If you turned it off and back on, it reset, so all you had to do was go to My Documents and find a file I'd put there called "Hah! Gotcha!" and delete it.
I like humourous virus'.
Also, I went to see WALL-E. It was a lovely and romantic film which was nice for my ex (long story) and I to enjoy. It was slightly ruined by the fact there was like 100 toddlers watching it, which meant there was always one kid crying.
Other films you need to see: Everything is Illuminated.

I like humourous virus'. you naughty person you Is it just me or is there a partially-concealed Star of David on that thing? I have other ones. One is the Cookie virus. Your screen slowly fills up with the word Cookie as you type, until it fills the screen, at which point it starts flashing like a 70s disco. Just restart and delete, like the Bouncing Balls. And then there's the WordFall virus. If you have Microsoft Word, you're typing happily along. However, on your 1000th word, all the letters on the page just fall to the bottom of the screen and the computer freezes. What you don't know is that if you press Esc, it exits the virus. It's that simple. And if you find the virus you can delete it with ease.

Yup, a star of David is there.
I am also.....okay, mildly amused as long as it's not me being victimized by the virus. I would just hate to be that person who just typed their 1,000th word and lost it becuase they didn't know that they could just press Escape.

And it'll take a week more once you realise I loaded one of my less sinister virus' onto your computer via Gaia. heart My virus' don't actually make you lose data. If you click Esc, it goes back to the page with everything you typed in. They're pranks, not malicious corruption machines.
