fickle lamia Amossk yea, thats why I did/do it. i just enjoy the way it looks and feels. everyone assumes I do it because I'm a devil worshiper and I want to reinact columbine and what-not See, now for me, the want to kill my fellow man predated the fishnets by years. But I digress. I've never gotten any weird looks EXCEPT from other "goths" and emo's and whatnot. I smile at a grandma and they always smile back. And when they don't I flip them off, but again; DIGRESSION. I never got the Satan-worshiper thing. I did once get the "Godless pagan whore" thing, but it was true; I have a family god for chrissakes. yea. I think killing people is pointless unless its total extermination. and now I am digressing I prefer the steampunk community. Its much more accepting and open minded

The truth is that you don't have to choose. For the RPs around the guild, I'm a Dark Elf, a race that is steeped in natural traditions, who is no stranger to technology. He hasn't chosen a side because both have strengths and weaknesses. It is combining the two that gives the best results. For another example, look at Final Fantasy VI. All of the technology in the game is steam-powered, except for one set: the MagiTech Armors. The run on a mixture of steam and Magicite crystals. The pilots of the armors can harness the power of the Magicite and use the magic spells that are stored in them, plus they have the defensive and physical offense of a steam-driven mechanical armor suit.
The point is that you don't have to choose a side in this fight. Priest and doctors in the Anachronism should be able to use divine powers as well as the latest medical breakthroughs. Or some of the airships could be run by a magic-steam hybrid engine. I don't think we should have to limit ourselves.

I made it a "one of the other" decision just to make it more interesting for the sake of this thread. And are there actually guild RPs? I havent seen any

I havent seen any It seems like the entire Airship Dock sub-forum plays out like a lot of inter-connected RPs. I guess you could just consider the bulk of the guild to be one big RP.
