After Ilori's encounter with Nagumo, he had waited only long enough for the teenage lion to get out of sight before rolling his eyes and huffing a sigh. He pretended to slink around to do as he was told, but really was sniffing for another way around where he could manage a peaceful encounter with Alex Zander--or perhaps a family member or friend of hers that was not deciding to take all their anger out on a stranger passing by.
He managed to find Alex Zander before another stranger. "Good night!" He called to her, "I need you opinion on something." He stayed still where he was though, the encounter with Nagumo leaving him not wanting to trot right up to her.

Alex Zander was laid out on a rock, her eyes half closed and her braid and loose hair falling over her eyes. Her stomach lifted and dropped slowly her clothes following with it. She was not really asleep yet. But she was just relaxing, the night was beautiful and she wasn't really ready to wander around. She, being lunar, was a fan of the night, even though her mother wasn't even she stayed awake a lot. Her small family, her, her mother and her brother all loved the night and were normally up around this time. Then slept in durning the day.
A voice almost made her jump. Her nose twitched and she looked over her shoulder before a smile grew on her face. She recognized this male. "Ilori!" She called out as she pulled herself up into a sit then smiled lopsidedly at him. "Of course. What do you need my opinion on?" She asked arching a curious brow at him, not quiet sure of what he wanted but still was up for his company.

{I noticed she grew! Do we want to play her as a teen or adult? Maybe older teen/into adulthood?}
Ilori grinned a little, trotting up close now to Alex Zander, "Well, I found something, and a--ah, an acquaintance of mine and I had a bit of a disagreement about it. I need a third opinion."
He reached into his pocket to pull out the crescent-shaped onyx stone. He set it down in a sliver of moon light, then tilted his head at Alex Zander, "What do you think of it?'
His tail waved slowly behind him, a small testament to his concern. What if this brother of hers was correct in saying it was worthless and stupid?

[[Older teen ;D Then we could do a adult RP later ;D ]]
Alex Zander looked at him, the height difference was still there but not as much. She flicked her tail behind her before flicking her hair out of her eyes so she could see better, it falling to her side and behind her ear as if it was trained to do that. She sat up before she arched a brow at him. "Of course." She giggled slightly as she waited.
When he pulled out the rock she looked at it and blinked a few times, she used to collect rocks when she was little, when she wasn't playing with her brother she would wander away and find a rock and add it to her collection but she had never found one like that. She leaned over and sniffed the rocks with a small smile growing on her face. "Its beautiful Ilori." She grinned at him then laughed just a little.
"Some one disagreed with you about it. They're silly." She grinned at him laughing once more.

Ilori's grin became very real then, not only did she like it, but maybe she'd been able to read into it a little, "I thought you might like it. It--kind of reminded me of the moon. And that got me to thinking about the no-moon phase, and, well--" He felt silly, and instead of finishing his explanation, he changed the subject, "Did you see the star shower the other night?"

Alex pulled it a little closer to herself smiling as she looked at it, it really was a beautiful rock to her. She smiled at him then nodded. "I love it, its beautiful." She giggled some before sitting up some. She was wondering why he didn't finish his sentence but she wasn't going to make him go on.
"Yes!" She wormed around some as the nodded to him. "Me, my mom and brother watched them. It was beautiful." She grinned at him nodding, flicking her tail behind her, she loved watching those.

"What's your family like?" Ilori asked, tilting his head. Maybe he could get insight on this over-protective brother of hers.
He looked down, playing with the stone a little, "Do you have any string? I was going to string it for you, but didn't get around to it." He pawed at some roots too, a bit half-heartedly, knowing that those weren't the type he'd need.

Alex looked at Ilori then shrugged slightly. "Well... Its interesting for sure." She nodded at that. "I lived with only my mother and brother most of the time, one or two of her old friends some times... And some times my other sister and brother would visit but not often. We never had a father around... Well when he would pop by and pretty much say hi." She rolled her eyes for the moment, before looking at him again. "But other wise me and my brother are always close and my mom is too." She nodded at the idea.
Then she looked down at his paws and chuckled slightly. "Not on me but I think I might have one in one of my favorite spots." She looked down at her paws and nodded she was pretty sure she had some hidden.

"It's good to have close family." Ilori agreed readily to Alex's last statement, and put the rest of what she said in the back of his mind to try to remember.
"Wonderful! The stone is yours if you have the string for it." Ilori said, flipping it upwards and towards Alex Zander's front legs. "Make it your good luck charm so you'll never be bothered by no-moon monsters and other such individuals."

Alex Zander grinned slightly with a nod. "Its fun." She admited she loved her family a lot. She wouldn't trade them for anything. Even though her brother was grumpy. She didn't care though.
She grinned and picked it up, managing to slide it into a pocket of hers, she smiled at him before blushing slightly. "I'll make sure to keep it as a good luck charm." She grinned before smiling at him. "What have you been up to?" She asked with a smile.

Ilori's ears flicked back a little. He enjoyed talked with Alex. And he didn't want to ruin it by the near-brother finding them talking. Not after the kid had just made those foolish threats to him.
He smiled back. "Oh, my adoptive son grew up and started his family...So I'm an adoptive grandfather. That has been interesting. I'm too young for that!" He chuckled a bit. "Speaking of families and my own though, I'm afraid I'll have to cut this short." He tilted his head, as if he'd just remembered something. "Tomorrow, is it? Perhaps. Soon anyway." He shook his head, looking a bit abashed for having forgotten, "I've a cubsitting job. I better head that way, and get some rest to handle energetic paws! I'm sorry I didn't get a string for you."
He stood now, nodding her head at Alex Zander politely as he got ready to go.
Now that he thought about it, he wasn't sure if that was a convenient way out to avoid confrontation or the truth. What sort of lion was he to not even know!

Alex Zander looked at Ilori with a grin as he started talking, she loved talking to him as much as he probably loved talking to her. She sat back more making herself as comfortable as she could. Purring quietly as she did. "Wow, I didn't know you had a son." She chuckled softly before grinning at him. "Wow, you're really ARE getting old." She winked at him reaching out a paw and nudging him with her paw.
Alex looked sad, at the idea of him leaving so soon. She shuffled her paws for a moment before smiling at him a soft smile. "Well... If you really don't know when it is it might be good for you to go now..." She tried to keep up her smile as she looked at him. "It does sound a little crazy." She giggled softly before chuckling softly. "Its alright, I can get a string easily!" She blushed softlyfor a moment. Noticing him getting ready to go, it made her feel a little sad.

"He wandered into my life and wouldn't wander out." Ilori laughed, "I didn't think I was qualified and tried to hand him off to some families that were nice. He wouldn't have any of that though." He shook his head, both pleased and still bewildered with that, "Maybe it was because I'm crazy. Cubs like that sort of thing."
He stretched out, using that as an excuse to stay an extra couple of miliseconds before nodding. "Make sure it's only the best kind of string. Only that'll do." He paused, then blinked. That sounded awkward, like he was trying to over-compliment her or something.
"...Uh, you know...anything else might break too easy..good luck charms are..ah..too special for getting lost. Right, uhm, enjoy yourself!"
Now he did start walking away, making sure to be graceful enough not to stumble on his own two feet like he'd just done with his words. What, he was afraid of complimenting a friend of his? Or was he afraid of her brother? Pffth...He'd gone and acted like Ilori was going to steal her away or something, and that idea was in his head. Nothing more. Certainly hadn't been a reason to stumble like that.
Silly moments were silly.

Alex Zander looked at him with a soft smiled. "Well then it sounds like he was meant to be with you." She looked down at her paws. She wished that she could be that important. She wished that they could be more than just friends. She really wished that was the way that it could be, but he probably didn't feel that way about her. Or so that was what she thought. She looked down at the rock before smiling up at him. "I'll ask my mom, she knows where to find a lot of things, when I break my glasses she normally knows the strong stuff to fix them." She chuckled softly as she watched him wander away, she stood up begining to get ready herself.
"It won't get lost!" She giggled as he wandered away. As he did she let out a small sigh, looking down at the rock. "I'll see you later!" She called out before gently lifting the rock in her jaws and trotting back toward her family. She really was going to miss him, she hoped to run into him again she really hoped it was going to be some time soon too.
