Customized forum is just a forum that you yourself named. Spam is excessive posting in a short amount of time, or posting with complete nonsense or something that doesn't make sense, relate to the topic, or has no topic.

if you need an example of spam then have you ever gone to a chatroom and seen someone fill it up with one word? Yeah thats an extreme example of spamming

i had an important choice today. either get myself a custom forum or get a wicked awesome machete. i chose the machete since it already had zombie blood on it (zombies man. FREAKING ZOMBIES.)
