1. Who's read the book.

2. Who's going to see it?

I'm almost finished reading it, and can't put it down, but I don't want to see the movie until I'm done. Which won't be long if I continue this trend.

EDIT from Jawes: I added the spoiler tag so that people--like myself--who have not read the book/seen the movie have warning. Now would be an alright time for people to discuss 3nodding

EDIT from Legend: Thanks Jawes, didn't occur to me. Congrats on the marr-i-age!

EDIT from Fred Fredburger: THOSE NACHOS MADE MY POOPIE REALLY STINKY

I never read the book before seeing the movie. & if I really like the movie I wont read the book since the movie is never as good. Kinda stupid I know, but it's just how I roll.

On another note: I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!

Shouldn't this be in the Music/Movies subforum?

Look like a good movie. I'll go see it.

Meh, the movie looks like it's going to be a slow-mo ******** just like 300 was...

The Graphic Novel is amazing, not only do I think that they'll tweak it to involve more action, but I also think that it will miss the excellent flavor of the novel.

But then again, the tweaks done to V for Vendetta were to the ideas benefit in my mind.

Anyways: The guild isn't busy enough to really NEED subforums anymore, it was a good idea for a while, but I honestly think that we were a little excessive with them.

Lol, kind of a "MOD POWERS ACTIVATE" kind of thing, huh?

A little notice to all of you who want to see the movie but have not read the book:

The story of Watchmen is NOT your run-of-the-mill superhero story. It has a lot of themes (and content) that they wouldn't dare show in something even as dark and involved as the new Batman movies. You can forget perfect, pure-of-heart heroes who always save the day in the end, because that is NOT the case.

If I elaborate any more, I'm afraid of spoiling the storyline.

All that needs to be said, Watchmen is a character driven drama, pretty much all the action in the trailers are what's in the book.

I want to read the novel. And see the movie.

I'm not sure about the order though hahaha.
