so my friends and I were dressed as furries.....let's just say we ended up getting kicked out (nicely) due to uptight hicks. Anyways; did you know a place of business is legally obligated to give you an application if you ask for one even while they're removing you from the premises?! Not that I'd work there but the look on the manager's face.....priceless.

furries are people who dress up as animals to varying degrees.....anything from a cat ear headband and cat tail to an all-out full body costume. Most of them feel a very close spiritual kinship to an animal; a little like a modern day totem, perhaps?

technically it is ..... but one of my friends was acting a touch "inflammatory" towards the jerks (who happened to be regulars, crotchety seniors, and related to the owner) after being berated for dressing so outlandishly.
He's looking into legal action so we shall see - I'll keep you posted if aught comes of it.
