So, I've been working on my picture again, and have changed a few things, and given her.. um.. a body.. XD And now I needa think of what colors to use for her clothes. I was thinking earthy tones, to go with her coloring.. but what colors would fit her best? Her personality is kinda serious, and she has a bad temper, and generally dislikes most people. XD Also, any suggestions about how to make the picture better would be nice. I've been contemplating turning it into a prison photo. XD Like the headshots they take, sorta. Just a more "fashiony" version.
Also wondering, are her clothes too "out there"? I tend to draw weird clothes.. XD Also, are they too "feminine" for her personality? Like.. should I be putting her in a t-shirt instead?

I like her accessories. owo
I don't know what you mean by her clothes being 'out there'. I think it depends on the setting? Like, do you want her to look more present day, or something sort of medieval? @o@
And unless she has a very extreme tomboy personality, I don't think her outfit looks too feminine. o^o
I personally think colors should be messed around with. It's kind of hard to decide straight out which colors you want to use, unless you're the sort of person who has a definite and clear picture in your mind before you start coloring (which I'm not XD).

I like the lacing, but perhaps the shirt shouldn't be gaping?

Lets see... I agree with what RLM said.
At first glance I thought her clothes were medieval. If its more medieval I think earthy tones work... if more modern, and she seems to have an attitude...darker colors like of course black, dark blues and purples...?

@Lan: She's supposed to have a sorta modern take on medieval clothes?
@Amberhawke: The bottom part? Is that what you're talking about? If so,, that parts isn't actually part of the shirt. It's like a waist cinch. It's probably the kind that hooks in the back, rather than the kind that laces up, though.
@Ame: I'll have to play around with it. Those colors might work well with the picture, particularly dark jewel tones like blue/purple/green.. And black's a given. =)

Ahaha, I wouldn't be sure of what that looks like then, but it seems like it fits for modern medieval fashion~ X'D
