well, for me my laptop has bluetooth and so do my cellphone... so that's how i transfer it...

if you want to cut songs (make them shorter) i recommend audacity... link...
it's freeware... it's what i use (not to mention my school does too) and it's safe as well...

Yeah, I got Audacity to clip some songs for something unrelated to ringtones, and I like it. 3nodding
