This should have been one of the best days of Smirnoff's life. Finally after so long of waiting and after being ridiculed so heavily by his angelic brothers, he too was an adult. Instead, drama struck by means of his best friend - the closest person to him in his entire world. She was now gone for good, probably turn her into a lesbian like her parents were. Wouldn't surprise him much...
Heartbroken, he wondered the lands at a slow pace with his head down. The only thing he heard was his own thoughts yelling him and punishing him for how he acted around Jack with Gabby right before he grew. He heard not the Zebra grazing or the elephants stampeding or even the grass flowing in the wind. Never before had he wandered off this far North, even on the missions with Gabby where they went dragon hunting, if he had he would have noticed that he had wandered straight onto the grounds of another pride...

Winter had grown tired of always being alone. The only people she ever talked to were the ones within the boarders of her own pride. It's not like she didn't enjoy spending time with her family. No, of course that wasn't it. Her parents have given her everything she has ever wanted - she was princess and surely treated as so.
It was the fact that she was lacking companionship; something she's longed for ever since she was a dear little cub. A lion to hold her, to protect her, to make her feel like she's the only one on Earth. But it continued to feel like a distant dream.
With a sigh, the snowy patterned lioness rolled over on to her stomach and looked to the sky. She had decided to do a little scouting for Heaven's Hopes today, but it turned into sun bathing instead.
Oh well.

There was definitely the smell of another lion near, a female at that. But Smirnoff thought nothing of it as he continued on his path, perhaps mabey the female would have the inclination to rid him of his misery or some other sort of punishment would due quite fine with him.
The son of King Mufasa made Smirnoff appear quite large, even being hunched over with his head down as he was now and being mostly red it was quite difficult for the male to be missed. Using this to his own sadistic advantage he walked in the direction of the lion, intending on walking right past the rock within several feet making no more noise than his loud footprint.

Her daydreams were interrupted by the sound of pawsteps, large ones at that. She turned her over and brought herself into a sitting position before turning her head in the direction of the noise. Her wavy flakes twitched, annoying her with their ability to have minds of their own.
She fixed her eyes on the male's large frame, his red pelt the most apparent. She wasn't sure if she should say anything to him her not. He was a stranger after all, but he was also within her pride boarders. She cursed herself for offering to scout for the day, and assuming Heaven's Hopes never had anything exciting going on. She had to speak up.
"E-excuse me.." She said in a mosey tone, barely audible.

The blond maned lion's green flakes twitched as the sound hit them instead of his ears which were previously turned off.
"Hm? Wha?" Shaking his head a bit he looked around for some form of life that had spoken at a level to cause his flakes to twitch like they did. Blasted things had a life of their own though, he very well could be speaking to himself or making the other lion possibly painfully aware of his presence.
But then as he turned, Smirnoff saw her. Her coat was the most beautiful blue and white with the grace of the stars upon it. She was beautiful and it had been a long time since he had seen a female that he could shamelessly be attracted to.
However! He would most likely just hurt her, immediately the Prince dropped his head and did not make eye contact with her. Although the lioness did not look like his Gabby, he saw her in every lioness.

She sensed a sadness about the male as he avoided her deep blue eyes in search of the ground instead. Being the loving lioness she was, Winter frowned, her tail feathers drooping in pity.
The words were on her tongue, dying to get out as if they were rabid dogs, locked in a cage that lacked victims. She wanted to speak on what she assumed was a depressing matter, but her duty to her pride still stood strong. Besides, what if she offended him by bringing up the emotions he so clearly displayed? A lot of males were like that; coming from a family that consisted mostly of guys, she knew that for a fact. So she settled for boring instead.
"Well, you see.." Like him, her eyes hit the ground, "you're currently on the grounds of my pride, fairly far in to be exact." Ugh, how she hated having to tell people that; how she hated sounding like a stuck-up pleb. Sure, the land rightfully belonged to her father, but it's not like the male was causing any harm.
Unsure of what his response may entail, she waited patiently.

Memories of where he was supposed to be and didn't want to go back to rushed through his mind. Home, where he as well had a duty to his own pride where his father reined over all inhabitants and where he did not wish to return, his brothers could surely take care of everything.
"Oh, right, right I understand." Looking up again into the female's eyes he was stricken with sorrow. But a thought ran across his mind, though there was no point in stating it out loud, it was the pride lion in him. "I meant no harm and understand the rules.. It was... Nice meeting you, huntress."
Now looking down again he slowly began to turn about and head towards the outlands of the pride. His Gabby would have mouthed off until the two of them were chased off of the lands or made up some wild story ending with how they needed to rush through the pride. Oh the things they did as youths...
