your parameters just evened out all new tanks will grow algae up to a certain point depending on feeding and what kind of fish you have in the tank and then wont grow it at all or as much

ok well i dont beleive that is right, algae will grow anywhere, depending on SUNLIGHT the algae will take over a whole tank if left unchecked, now yes i have a little algea eater but they dont clean the sides or the crevices in the rocks so idk about the parameters, yeh

no algae does not just grow based on light its a factor but over feeding and fish waste feeds algae along with nitrates which result from left over food and fish waste

So I managed to get 2 30 gallon aquariums for just 135 and one came with a filter and hood and some equipment that would add up to about 30 on its own, the other came with a stand, both needed cleaned but it was worth it, thought it was gonna be a 100 gallon or so cuz thats what my mom said, then again I have learned not to trust my mom, and I had to save my dads new fish today cuz they nearly killed the darn thing due to shock of adding him to a brand new aquarium(16 gallon), thank god for stress coat at this point, I'd hate to have lost that fish(tis a columbian shark)

I have 3 I made a deal with my dad and its actually my mom that doesn't know anything bout fish, my dad just doesn't like using chemicals but when he saw how his big catfish was acting he was like "judas get in here and bring the stress stuff hurry". I sold him the 30 gallon real cheap since I just needed the stand it came with and didn't really want to bother cleaning that one with how dirty it was lol.. But yeah I have a 30 in my room on a stand ready to set up and a 10 and a smaller 3 that i think i'll use for that shrimp/tetra thing me and you talked about on yim.
