I've been planning on buying some new shoes from Secret Shop, but I have a big concern. I've never bought shoes form online because of fear that it wont fit properly or look nice. My shoe size is 24 cm and the largest size secret shop carries is 24.5 cm. But I have wide feet... so now I'm really worried that the shoes won't look good or fit. The shoes I want are these: 9815 Kera Cutie Shoes. So, does anyone think they would fit? If any of you with wide feet own these shoes how well do they fit? Does any one you think I should just buy them and see? And if you don't think they would fit, where would be a place to get better fitting shoes? Ling? Are we still boycotting? I'm really not keeping up with the news of that.

Ling Lam straightened up her act, actually. The boycott has more or less been lifted, as she improved her service and ceased the accusations she was leveling that customers were lying about bad service to get free goods.
As for shoe width, Ling cannot provide wide shoes, either. They are all one width, and only the length can be changed unfortunately. If you are unsure it if would fit, contact QCute [since it seems you're buying through her], and ask if she can provide measurements of the width of the toe and heel. Many lolita shoes as designed by Secret Shop are a bit wide on normal feet, as they have straps to keep them on, and to accommodate a wider range of sizes.
I have not tried on that particular pair, but have worn other Secret Shop size L shoes before. I wear a 24-24.5 most of the time. There was a little extra room, but not a lot. Depending on the measurements she gives you, you may not want to take the risk.

This. I know that Ling-Lam or was it Rose Chocolat? Suggested that you order a size bigger if you have wide feet, but of course that would sort of be awkward. While you want those shoes, I know that qcute has 3L and larger sizes for the shoes she has, and there's also nana-jun who have customed-size shoes. I don't know if they have the shoes you want but those are other options.

I posted the same question to egl and everyone said that the SS shoes run wide, so I should have no problem with that.
Qcute was actually very helpful and contacted me before I could get to her. But I learned those particular shoes are now sold out in L, so I'm out of luck until I see another style that I fall in love with.
Thanks for the help , anyway. I'll be sure to check out Rose Chocolat and nana-jun as suggested.

Secret Shop's TaoBao shop has them sold out as well, or I'd tell you to go through one of the other shopping services.
You can ask princessd0ll/mashimaro girl on LJ if she can contact them through her deputy service to find out when they'll be available again. They're a bit more open with their information than QCute and might be able to tell you when that style is up for sale again. QCute has been trying to keep her cards close to her chest lately because she apparently worries that other sellers are trying to swipe her customers or something? I'm not sure. There's been some kinda drama going on with that bunch lately.

Yes, I recall hearing something about Qcute having information about the release of mint and lavender tea party replicas... which was suppose to have been kept a secret or something. I'm not sure if that's all of, or even part of the drama though.
Anyway, I'll ask about one of them if and when the Kera shoes will be available again. Though, I'm not so sure- don't they stop making the style once it has sold out?

-C'est la lune qui conduit la danse...-
I wouldn't suggest Rose Chocolat, I honestly don't know their status since last year or so. I just made reference about them, I wouldn't suggest them. mad They've had serious customer service issues because none of their workers were good English speakers, and eventually people stopped purchasing from them. It's kind of sad, but I wouldn't be surprised if they ran out of business (at least with their store in Seoul).

Yeah, that's part of the drama. Apparently Secret Shop is doing no such release and that's why QCute asked it to be kept 'secret' information. Not sure what she's going to do when it comes out that they're not releasing those shoes? The whole thing is silly and I hope it gets sorted out...
Anyway. Rose Chocolat is doing fine, I'm pretty sure, just not with western buyers. The issues that came up last year pretty much turned everyone off unless they were doing group orders, since those tend to come out fine since RC pays more attention to how those go [which is funny, since group orders were Ling's biggest malfunction haha].

I found out something this weekend about the 3L and larger shoes QCute sells. Apparently, the "Miranda/Custom House" shoes aren't a very good quality compared to Secret Shop. They're in between Montreal and Secret Shop's quality, which seems unfortunate given their prices. Sadly, if that's the size you need, that's the size you need and Secret Shop goes no larger than LL. >_<
