Quin bounded back wards in a leap, landing he had his staff in front of him ready to defend, but he saw how Jay has built up too much momentum and was having difficulties bringing it back. "Tragic, pain, life, all go hand in hand, but under your curse she could be brutally torture and live, she could be beheaded and live, she could have her bodies growth excelerated like Mordrids to where she is an old woman. Would you want to wish that fate on anyone? Your own daughter, to allow for something like that to happen." He found his opening as Jay was swinging. Charging in he dug the tip into the ground to launch him into a kick, he aimed for his jaw.

"Our clan is very protective of it's members, and you can be assured that I and the rest of this clan will make sure no harm befalls her" He said softly as he then saw the kick coming at him. There wasn't enough time to dodge, to he lept forward, tucking his head in and bringing his shoulder up. He kept his jaw down as he met with him, shoulder to foot, and was struck hard. The force sent him skidding back, and he eventually lost his footwork and tumbled back momentarily. He arose, brushing the sand from his back and arms. The hit looked as if it did considerable damage, but then again he may have injured the man's leg in the process. "Nice hit..."

Quin used the counter momentum of hitting Jay's shoulder to push himself back, turning his head face the ground as his body spun under him to land solidly. "Thank you, as you can see I am very much the Harlequin, and doubly so the b*****d." Idely he held the staff, cradeling it in his arms, "It must be a relief to have such a strong clan then."

"One of the few things I can trust in" He said confidently as he put both hands on the staff, keeping them apart like he had done before. It was a good exchange of attacks, and the battle was going at a decent pace. He quickly dashed, pushing off of his left foot. His speed was great, one of his advantages he used over opponents over twice his size. He would then plant the staff in the ground when he was close enough, causing his body to go in a cartwheel like motion. The first kick was directed towards the man's face, and if not stopped would continue to roll in the cartwheel like motion until he was on his feet once more.

Quin shook his head, standing still as Jay rushed him, it was only once he had started to cartwheel that he moved, now cradeling the staff in one arm he side steped out of the way and twisted his body. As Jay came close he grabbed what appendage he could and directed his momentum to slam him into the ground. Finding he held his arm he stomped his foot down where the shoulder conected to the arm. Holding his staff spear like he pressed it against Jay's throat. "A fun match, but you like to put too much effort behind your attacks." So as to catch him unaware he pivoted on his foot that held Jay's shoulder down abd ket the force of gravity work for him as he dropped kneed first into his midsection.

Something didn't go as planned, however. Both hands had been on the pole, so he would have to have already completed the motion before removing his hands from the pole. As he felt his arm being grabbed, he quickly took his staff in one hand, balling that hand in a fist and firing at his opponents neck. The man had no hope of simply moving his head to the side or ducking, since the pole prevented him from evading the attack. He was thrown down to the ground, but would get up quicky if his arm wasn't pinned.

Quin felt the punch hit his neck, but he wasn't one to stop what he was doing, his body moved automaticly as the full force of his body crashed into Jay's. When his mind regained he crouched ontop of him, his knee while pressing into his sternum while the heel of his foot was posed just above his crotch. Hitting both of Jay's hands with his staff so he would lose his grip on his weapon, moving it out of the way he brought the staff back and placed it at the point where the skull conects with the neck. "Try anything funny and you won't be able to walk out of here." He gave a little pressure so it became harder to breath, even more so with the weight pressed onto his chest.

Jay would fall back as he felt Quin's body slam into his, causing him to stumble back and fall. Within a few seconds, he found that the man had the upper hand. He looked to the center of his chest and saw his knee, and assumed the other foot was endangering the groin area. He was struck in the hands, but would not relinquish his weapon. He'd have to get his hands torn off of him to get him to let go of his staff, but as he felt the weight on his chest, he let out a wheezing sort of chuckle "Now why would I do something funny?" He asked with a smirk.

"Because you have proven yourself more the fool in this fight then I. Do you submit?" He added a little pressure to his heel, "Or would you like me to stand up and we can start a new?" He pressed harder with the pole against his neck, "But you seem a little short on breath, maybe you could use a break?"

"It only takes one fight to see a man's strategy" Jay said with a smirk as he felt the additional pressure, but seemed to remain eerily calm at the moment "I suppose it's been so long since I've done any physical training. I tend to center my focus on my arcane skills, rather than my skill with a weapon."

"That would be a weakness which I have used against you this time. Think not you are still not a fool, you agreed to my terms in this duel and this is what we have, maybe after I have gained some compentency in the arcane we can see what would happen, but for this day you have lost."

"I have" Jay said with a respectful nod, but then said "But you do realize, by keeping yourself in your position like this, you leave yourself open for a shot in the groin" He said as he looked up at the man and grinned. "But yes, I did agree to your terms and I respect them. I concede"

"That may be in some strange way, but if you were foolish to try you would find yourself short of air and lacking the ability to produce any more children." Quin rose up from his crouched position. "It was a decent fight, but I must say it lasted longer then any fight should." He walked off the field and headed home.

"Heh, I don't care what you say. Not too many men can stay on task when they have a knee to their groin. Had I chose to strike you there, the both of us would be unable to produce children" He said with a grin as he got up and brushed himself off. Another bullet dodged. Pale had been worrying about him since he got the request to duel, and promised he'd return in once peice. So, picking up his cloak, he departed for home.

Ban walked into the stadium, his eyes casting around. His teeth gritted together as he gazed around. Noone. He let out a scream of helplessness as his hands were balled up tightly. He turned his head one way and then another. Nothing, no one. He needed to fight, he needed to let this rage out. If he didn't, he would kill something. He then thought about the open field. Could he hit anything there? Maybe a lone tree or two...yeah...that might be better than destroying the stadium. People might get mad. And so he set out, searching for someplace to fight, with himself, or with others. He wasn't sure really at the moment.
