Many of Duniya knew of the Divine Order. They all had varying thoughts of the religious body, but most held some measure of respect for them whether it was for their devotion to the Pantheon or for their willingness to cope with the unreliable Duniya gods. The Divine Order did not typically involve itself in the everyday affairs of its residents, but something about the uniqueness of the existence of the Tabula Rasa had intrigued the gods.
The Order contained the gods' messengers, and so, the Divine Order learned that they must interfere with these 'Tabula Rasa'—blank slates born out of Rasa. The particular reasons for the gods' interference was unknown, but no matter if Locke particularly agreed to it or not, the new manifests were to be brought to the Divine Order—specifically, Shakuni—immediately upon manifestation.
Shakuni herself was a deeply devout priestess of the Order. It was said that the gods had touched her themselves, and therefore she held a deep connection and affinity to the affairs of the gods. Shakuni was a leader in the Order and perhaps the most important messenger of them all. To be called to bring the Tabula Rasa to the gods meant that the Tabula Rasa held some deep significance. The certain significance was, as of currently, unknown, but one did not question the gods' wishes.
Another manifestation had arrived—Albel. It was time.
As routine before she had to present someone with the gods, Shakuni entered a meditative state where she could speak with her gods. No matter what, she kept alert for the sounds around her, to make sure she would not find herself surprised and to make sure she knew exactly when the manifestation would enter.
If the gods wished to meet all the manifestations, Shakuni would be the vessel which would allow that.
(( The gods have spoken through their faithful servant! They have decreed that all new manifestations are to be brought to the attention of the Divine Order and brought to Shakuni, their faithful messenger, as soon as possible.
This PRP thread is reserved for the manifestation Albel Nox.
This introductory post is very similar to the ones of the other Tabula because the Divine Order and Shakuni have not been known very long; it gives you a chance to get to know them as well. ))

Albel Nox did not approve of this, and that was clear. It took three guards to drag him into the room before two of them remained and the last locked them in. In only a pair of stolen pants he spat some words at the guards that should not have been said even in the most unholy of places. He had no weapon and that, well that was for the better as the guards slowly let him go.
Albel was happy to be let go there was no doubt about that, but he was still quite angry that he had no choice in the matter. Looking to the middle of the room he started on his walk forward to go and snatch up the woman who had been in the middle of the floor. He almost got that chance to, one of the guards that had been in the room grabbing the long fall of hair that he had bound up somehow. With a yelp he spun on his heal and swatted at the guard with his metallic arm.
"You will not touch her." The burly man said as Albel growled to him. The Guards had weapons and he did not, so it was best not to ask too push his luck.
Looking back at her and remembering the no touching rule that had been set into effect he folded his arms and lifted his chin to look down at her.
"Why have I been brought here? What is this? " Albel demanded as he gave the room a once over, something he should have done to start with, after all it was always best to know one's surroundings.

Shakuni had been deep in meditation when she heard the commotion begin behind her. Not one, not two, but three guards were dragging a Tabula with them, and if Shakuni wasn't so faithful that she was under the protection of the gods, she would be a tad nervous. Instead, however, she only seemed mildly frustrated. Shakuni did not like when someone broke the piece in her Divine Order, but it seemed this Tabula was determined to do just that with unholy yelling and unnecessary thrashing about.
What a violent Tabula this was. Anat might appreciate.
The priestess stood up just in time to be confronted by two angry and demanding questions. "The Gods will not take well to your attitude." Though it had seemed the gods had not smited such brash characters yet, she wouldn't be surprised if one of these Tabula eventually pushed things just a little too far. "I would suggest you calm."
After waiting a few more moments, Shakuni began her typical introduction. "I am Shakuni, my child, and you are here in the Divine Order." Almost motherly, Shakuni went from strict to much softer within only a minute. "The Gods have called upon you and the other Tabula as they wish to meet you for themselves."

"Ha! Gods you say? Then why did they not seek me out themselves if they're all powerful?" Albel asked as he looked her over with his same over the top attitude and that cocky smile. "Or are you just a fake?" He said in a snide way as he let his lip pull up in his smile. "After all I've seen no proof of Gods of any kind." He added as he looked down, his guard dropping for a moment as he remembered what little that he could of his birth father before growing angry again.
"And ask your God why I've been robbed of my memories! I have some, but not all. Some are missing and I want them back." Albel demanded as he tried to walk forward again though the guard that had a hold of his hair pulled again and kept him from getting too much closer.

These recent Tabula were pushing the boundaries of her endless patience. Were they not supposed to be blank slates? Why did they protest so? "You have not been alive for long, my child, and these reactions are most unnecessary. If you would please calm, this would be much appreciated by both I and the Gods who wish to see you in their presence."
Albel Nox would understand the power of the Pantheon soon enough. The priestess had no further need to scold him for the moment. "I didn't know the newborn Tabula had memories," remarked Shakuni, frankly. "This is most curious. I am sure the Gods will be even more interested." She gestured to Albel, and his guard, to follow her as she headed towards the fountain.
While she knew Albel would never follow willingly, she did know that she could trust the guard to pull him along. "We shall go to the Fountain of Lights, where you shall meet the Gods. Come, Albel."

Albel did as she thought and he kept fighting with the guard as he pulled and twisted in his grasp though the grip on his hair was quite strong and he couldn't do much in the way of... pulling it out. Shuddering at the thought he looked at her and again tried to get away.
"I don't care what they find... intresting! I have questions and I demand answers! Why is there a hole in my chest? What is this place?!" He called as he again tried to get away though the guard only grabbed his hands and without a weapon Albel could not stop him, well not very well anyhow. With both his hands behind his back Albel was forced to follow behind her. He didn't like this, not one bit. There would be much in the way of revenge or at least that's what he had started to plot from that moment. He would find a way to get back at this woman and her 'Gods' and that, well that he swore.
"And what do you mean I haven't been alive for long? I'm an adult! I'm a fully grown man! I've been alive for years!" Well he knew he was right, all be it that he couldn't tell anyone how MANY years, he knew it was a long time.

"If you've been alive for years," remarked Shakuni, "you would have been brought to me many years ago. You doth protest too much." She tried to keep her voice level, hiding the inner annoyance she felt at his continuous yelling, struggling, and protesting. It took all of her restraint to keep herself from asking the gods to shut him up personally. Usually, she was very calm, but something about the violent Tabula grated on her.
The hole in his chest? "That I am not exactly sure of, but it is strange that you ask since all Tabula are born with a hole in their chests. I believe it holds some kind of essense." Shakuni would not be surprised if he had an essence of some sort of evil in his chest. Perhaps violence, or perhaps insanity. Insanity seemed like an option.
"Now, if you would calm down for the moment, that would be most excellent. Perhaps then the gods can visit you." Then they could deal with him. Ones this annoying needed to be taught lessons every once in a while, especially if they were blaspheming in the presense of all of the gods. Shakuni stopped at the fountain and turned to face him, waiting patiently for Albel to stop his flailing.

"Well I don't exactly remember... but I can still feel things! Things that I don't know, things that I've never seen!" Of course he wasn't going to stop flailing around. He wanted out! What were these Gods anyhow? Fakes or the real thing? Psh, as if he had ever had the hope or faith to believe in the real thing.
"If I haven't been alive for years then why am I a grown man?" He demanded as he was forced to his knees by the guard who held him there for a moment before he did finally calm down. Letting him back up Albel took deep breaths as he watched her, his eyes narrowed on her as he marked her every move. If it wasn't for the guard he would have his answers... Perhaps the few fleeting faded feelings that clung to the Tabula were because of how stubborn he had always been, how very set in his ways.
Standing now he had stopped fighting so much though he did try to break free of the guard every now and then, though with his arms pinned and held as they were it would make the task near to impossible.
"Fine. Let the gods meet me, I don't care. I'll just know who I need to cut down for this humiliation. " He added as he looked away. He had been defeated for now and that humiliation burned deep into his heart, after all he wasn't one to let such things rest. He would find a way to get back at these... 'gods' one day.

"I don't know why you're a grown man." This grown man was making her groan in annoyance. At least the guard finally seemed to calm him down. She seemed a lot less tense and annoyed once Albel made some strange agreement to cooperate. If he insisted on cutting down the gods, that was his problem. At least, for the moment, she could lead him to the gods so perhaps he could learn. After thanking the guard, she politely dismissed him. Shakuni gave the most threatening glance to Albel she could muster to make sure that the irritating young man would not take his chance to escape. Then, she returned to her location near the fountain. As soon as the guard was out of range--and out of mind--the room became dark and Shakuni spoke with a rather strange, echoing voice. The woman, if anything, sounded possessed by some ethereal being. "What are you drawn to, Albel?" (( Black is between the blue and green. ))

Standing Albel walked forward as he looked the fountain over and pointed to the red color that he had seen. He didn't know quite why, but it made him feel like he wanted to feel, just looking at it... the others... just seemed empty.
"That one." He said almost softly. For him... it was passion. That burning desire to live, to do something with his life. "I like that one." He added as he looked back to her with that spark that he had been lacking, the one that would help him re-direct his rage instead of just spewing it everywhere and at everyone. This wold make him ether a powerful killer, or a powerful warrior for the better half of himself.
The question was, would this kind of passion make or break the man?

Ah, crimson. The color of anger. Shakuni couldn't help a mild chuckle that was clearly her own at the choice, especially after she spotted Albel's expression. However, as soon as she had control over her own body again, it seemed that her control over the situation was completely sucked away. The chuckling was replaced with a rather malicious cackle.
"Ah, Albel! Pleasant choice." Shakuni's voice had become significantly deeper. While her voice had stopped echoing, it was a little surreal to listen to someone go from a soprano to a baritone in no time flat. "It's been a while since I've seen someone so drawn. Tell me, Albel, are you often furious with the world and its function?"
Shakuni the Priestess... or really, whatever she was, randomly decided that it was okay to sit on the edge of the fountain. The other colors began to fade out of view in the meantime, leaving only the crimson light burning brightly like the light in Albel's eyes.

"It's... more than just anger for me. It's passion." Albel said as he looked to her, opening up a little. "It's the will to do what you think is right, the passion that drives you and the anger that it causes because you can never pick what drives you. It's always something that's set out for you. I like to think of it as passion." He said as he looked away from the god with the foul voice. That was surely after all what it was. "But if you want to call it anger, hate, blood lust... than that's your choosing. It means something different to me." He almost growled as he looked back.
"I hate stupid people, God or not you're no exception. In a hurry to think that everyone thinks like you, that perhaps no one might think differently on something." He growled.
(( Sorry that took so long. I had a few things pop up that I had not planed. ))

Shakuni looked a little surprised, but the expression that Shakuni's face made did not seem to be an expression the priestess would normally make. How peculiar. "Viewing us as equals, are you?" Whatever was possessing the priestess sounded both irritated and impressed at the same time. "Awfully bold man you are," remarked 'Shakuni,' before turning around and facing the glowing crimson water flowing from the fountain of light.
"Passion is certainly a way to think of it, too. It just happens that most of your 'passion' is displayed in the emotion of anger and the drive of infuriation. It's still the same. Anger is a very passionate emotion. But, now Albel, what drives you? Why are you so passionate? What is driving you? And if you can't decide what is driving you... what is making you still go on and figure it out? Perhaps the search itself is what is driving you, Albel?" The god possessing the priestess certainly seemed to have plenty of questions, a smirk dancing on her face.
(( Same here, not to worry. ^^; ))

All Albel could do was make a sound as he looked the 'god' over again. "I want to know what and who I am." He looked to the woman who stood before him again and drew a deep breath. "I want to find what ever it is that's missing here." He said as he looked down to his chest. "I MUST find what I lost." He added as if lost in thought, showing a side of him that none had seen, that he didn't often let show. " And your rambling is keeping me from that. Are you done?" He grumbled, remembering how the guard had had a hold of his hair and had forced him to obey. That wasn't something that he wanted to happen again. "Or are you going to make me grow old waiting for you to finish?" He added in that same 'I could care less' voice of his.
