Quote: Grow catnip plants in full sun to partial shade. Like so many herbs, this perennial thrives in poor soil that is well-drained. Catnip plants like a slightly alkaline soil. Catnip is being mentioned as drought tolerant. 2x a week might be too much, if the potting soil is retaining all the water. Check by sticking your finger an inch or so into the soil. If it's damp it doesn't need water. Often the surface soil will dry out making you think a plant needs water, when there's still plenty of moisture beneath

Have the leaves changed color? Is it sitting near a vent, or a window? How wet is the soil, and what is it potted in---a soil mix, or straight peat?
Info! Info! I need info!
With new plants, it's usually too much water or not enough, and if it's planted in straight peat, the center of the rootball can be dry while all the outside is wet. The best way to find out is to poke something like a chopstick into the pot in several places and just see what's going on in there!
Although I've never seen scale or mealybugs on catnip, you might want to check for them. They are both sucking insects, and can kill a plant very quickly. Mealybugs look like little bits of cotton on the stems, and scale looks like little brown turtleshells. You can hand-pick either one, and for scale, that's the really the best way to get rid of them.

Okay, guys i have used your measures...
1) Soil was damp, im going to stop watering it for awhile. 2) It was in a window sil, and ive moved it to our screened in porch in the day fore more light.
This is a fickle plant..It went from great to wilting in, i think hours. Some of the plan seems to be white, not sure if that is new plant or dying plant.
I wish i had got cat n** grass, this is more of a plant than grass.
