Occupation/Social Status in Rank:: Seamstress. Luaya is of moderate to low status within her rank. While well respected for her talent, she's simply too meek to gather much regard.
Views on Rank responsibilities:: Luaya is comfortable with her Rank and happy to serve.
Education/ Intelligence:: Luaya's parents thought her sweet, but not particularly bright and so lead her away from focusing on book learning. Her mate, Kithe, stresses the importance of intelligence, and while she still doesn't consider herself particularly smart, she's starting to read more and learning she's not as dumb as she thought she was.
Marital Status:: Mated, but not married.
Political Thoughts/ Views of Ranks and Vhaid:: Luaya tries not to think overmuch about politics. She considers the whole business to be 'messy and mean'. She trusts her leaders to do what's best for her and the village.
Beliefs/ Values/ Strength of Beliefs:: While it may seem a bit childish, Luaya's whole approach to living could be summed up as 'everyone should really try to be nicer'. That said, this belief comes, in part, from the fact that Luaya really believes that many Jivvin are not, in fact, very nice. She tries to be all the nicer as a result, and it'd take a lot of effort to even pry an unkind words from her lips. Luaya is good and kind and helpful even when she shouldn't be, and this has often been detrimental to her in her life.
What is his/her usual disposition?:: Luaya is rather shy and soft-spoken. She's easily bossed around and bullied and timid to a fault. The only time she shows anything resembling a real backbone is when someone around her is physically or emotionally wounded. At such times she becomes a bit of a 'mother hen' ready to coddle and comfort the 'lucky' individual.
Optimist/ Pessimist? :: Pessimist. Though she'd never admit it, Luaya believes that deep down, most people just aren't very nice.
Confident/Self-conscious? :: Extremely self-conscious.
How does he/she feel about his/her appearance? :: Luaya is actually quite fond of her body, as is her Mate.
Most important possession:: Well, technically Kithe isn't a 'possession' but he's the most important thing in her world. She considers ordinary objects to be entirely replaceable.
Talents :: As noted, she's an excellent tailor, seamstress and pattern-maker. Which isn't to say she's good at 'fashion' she just makes other peoples designs reality. She's also a pretty good cook, and has a bit of a green thumb.
What is a normal day like for this Jivvin?:: Luaya likes to sleep in late when she can get away with it. Her shop doesn't open until noon, but she keeps it open into the small hours of the night. She usually wakes up to share the breakfast that Kithe has prepared for them, works in her garden for a bit, then sees to whatever work she has to get done. If she has extra time, she heads out to visit her sister and nieces, then shops for any provisions they need. She likes to spend a long time in the kitchen cooking the evening meal, and attempts (but sometimes fails) to prepare lavish meals for the two of them.
What is a normal rainy day like for this Jivvin?:: Rainy days differ little from sunny days for Luaya. She gets to spend more time on her sewing, and more time with Kithe, which she enjoys.
Greatest Fear:: Probably hurting someone she cares about. Luaya's self esteem comes primarily from being 'good' and 'helpful'. If she were to hurt a loved one, even by accident, she'd be pretty destroyed.
What does he/she want most?:: A peaceful, quiet life with a family. A bit more secretly, to be well liked by everyone (incidentally, she doesn't really have any enemies, but low self esteem keeps her from recognizing this fact.)

Major Goals::
1. Be a mother.
2. Become more educated.
3. Continue to make Kithe happy.

On Pessimism: I'm kind of torn on this one. While Luaya does believe the world should be a better place and does her best to contribute to that, she also believes that everyone she interacts with dislikes, or at best pities her. Which isn't a particularly optimistic approach to people.

On Kithe: I certainly hope so. They're meant to be an odd couple.

On Triskt: He makes me think of crackers too. I approve of giving things silly names sometimes.

On her mother: It was strained before Kithe came along, he's just a recent focus for the tension. I went back up and clarified a bit.

Correct. She's comfortable enough with herself physically. She's self-conscious because she feels she's inadequate both mentally and magically.

I think Kep and Indu have asked about the only things I would.

I have to say, Lithle, I very much like this character, and I'm really looking forward to seeing her in action, as well as Kithe's application.
