Kenji first appeared in
Gotham, walking into the resturaunt that Joker and his group were in. He began talking to
Reaper, showing that the two knew each other, and had no reaction to the screaming going on from inside the kitchen thanks to his ‘job’. When the
Joker began to talk to him, Kenji offered him a pistol to shot him. Joker declined, and instead had him smell the carnation on his jacket, releasing his joker toxin. Kenji seemed amused by it, and said that he’d simply suffer from a sore throat before he turned his pistol on himself. He shot himself in the head, it healed quickly, and he resumed laughing.
Pixi grew annoyed with him, and decided to try and fight him. The two fought for a moment, Pixi using her telekenisis, and Kenji stabbing her in the arm with his spear. Pixi uses her mind control to make him stop after the loss of blood begins to get to her, and Kenji leaves saying that the place was boring.
With the Joker toxin still in his system, Kenji makes his way to
Murderworld. He is met with some of
Arcade’s robots, and impresses Arcade when he easily takes them out. Kenji says that he’ll make a deal if Arcade can cure him of the Joker toxin.
Arcade shows Kenji what all he has on Deadpool, then provides Kenji with a cure. Arcade wants Kenji to capture Deadpool or bring him back his head. Kenji agrees and tells him he’ll do it for half price since the cure worked. He then leaves back to Gotham.
Kenji arrives at
Gotham and notices
Spider-Man swinging by with some one else. Curious, he runs up the building after them.
Shocker sent a blast his way and knocked Kenji off the building, who landed in front of and was hit by a garbage truck driven by
Pixi. She apologizes and offers him a ride to help her track down Spider-Man. She wants him, and he was the last one to see Deadpool. Kenji grudgingly agrees, then becomes impatient with her as she browses the other cars. He picks her up and races down the street with her.
Kenji and Pixi soon arrive at the
Batcave, and find
Deadpool along with a decent group of others. Kenji attempts to simply get Deadpool to come with them, but Deadpool keeps his distance from him, as well as hide behind
Superman. Everyone talks for a moment, and Pixi tries to make herself out to be a victim of sorts. Kenji gets annoyed with her again, and tries to dodge Superman as he comes after him.
Pixi soon decides it’s time to go when a bigger fight begins. Superman sends a blast of ice at Kenji, who uses his spear to counter attack and goes flying towards him for a punch. Pixi grows annoyed with him and uses her telekinesis to lift both him and his spear in the air and out the door with her. All Kenji can do is curse at her.
Kenji and Pixi soon arrive in
New York…
